This is kind of a long question but I really only need a yes or no answer. If I have a restaurant size can of say Green Beans. Could I open it and seperate them into smaller canning jars and then re-can them for later use without much of a problem?

Canning foods and storing as shelf stable without the correct headspace is absolutely not safe. It leaves a high risk of some air not escaping at the correct pressure and can lead to mold, and even botulism. Please, if your jars are not full, put in your fridge and use first!!! This is NOT safe canning.

Curious… Usually we cook up several pork butts and make up some bbq with a vinegar based sauce we chop it all up and add the sauce. I would love to can whats left. If I jar the bbq & sauce in pint jars.. how long would you process it. The meat is fully cooked.

Freedom Acres I always make exta of my pasta sauce and chili to can and some soups too. I can my left overs from the crockpot chicken and roast as well. It makes a very easy meal that is hearty and nourishing.

Since this video is from last yr. Not sure if you'll answer my question. I made way to much spaghetti meat sauce a few months ago. I didn't have a pressure canner so I put it in mason jars and froze it. Wondering if I can reheat it and now can it up or just leave them in the freezer. Thank you, love your videos.
