Gtr’s are BARELY awd. The controller sends about 15% power up front…once your in the 1200+ power range even a 10 plate ETS can’t hang…they are just treated as rear wheel drive. The front prop shaft is like 1” diameter. They aren’t awd…at that power level it’s more of a hinderance, but for a stock gtr it’s great.
hell no it doesn't belong and it's not up to the racer's !! to say no it's the people running the event should have shut down when it begun .

Tommy had to peddle at around half track. With the weight bar or bars back in,the out come would have been different. Now the Nova that won is a bad car. Billy's nemesis.
The rules for the race did not exclude FWD, so he was allowed to run. Most races are specific about this issue. I have to give some props to the finish line dude. When that Mustang came his way, he was alert and very fast on his feet. Good video coverage as usual, thanks.
It's a 4000 lb car it doesn't even do a burnout naked break a tiny little axle at any time if it hooked hard enough it could break parts quit whining😩😩😩😩
Wouldn't matter if he didn't use the front drive but in my opinion he should not have been allowed to race
The entire idea of limiting tire size was to even the playing field. AWD vehicles have literally twice the amount of rubber on the ground, and should have their own class, or race big tire, where the amount of rubber that they have on the ground actually still fits the rules.
