Just finished eating the last of a pot of this today 😋…I used a whole lemon as it says on the bag…A can of diced tomatoes (I'll use Italian stewed tomatoes next time)…A whole onion cut into 4ths…Bout a half tablespoon of minced fresh garlic in a jar…(1 lb) Spicy Hot Italian sausage (sauteed) cut into slanted pieces, then mixed it all into the pot along with the seasoning in the packet…Good stuff. 😋
I love using just the 15 beans and making an AMAZING Vegan Bean Soup. Nom nom nom. Only bean soup I literally crave. Can't believe I never tried the 15 bean soup thing until now.
