I always use a plastic bag for the flour mixture and just dump the meat in, seal and toss like crazy. Just throw away the bag! Such an easy clean up, lol. I've been wanting an Instant Pot. After watching how easy it is, think I'll do that. Looks really good Breck. Thanks for the recipe. Good luck with the job!

Best of luck with your job interview. I think you will do fine. One tip to for the on-site visit: Research the company as much as practical beforehand – its business, news stories and its competition. Be prepared to ask a few non-critical questions about your potential employer. That will indicate that you are a serious candidate who is interested enough to be well prepared for the interview.

Breck I agree about sweet potato in beef stew, carrots and mushroom are an absolute must! Do you have 'dumpling' in the US? Here in the UK we often add them, they are great with beef stew. Good luck with the interview.

I think maybe the problem was that you had it in vent mode which is what you use for slow cooking not pressure cooking? I could be wrong though….
It sure looked good. I am definitely going to try that recipe. Good luck with the interview!

If your gravy wasn't as thick as you like it on that last cup of broth you added you might add a couple tablespoons of the flour mixture and stir till disolved then add to the pot. That should make thicker gravy. πŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing. Hope you enjoyed your stew.

Wonder if with some of the stew that was on the top of insert was enough to effect the gasket from getting a full seal at the start. Looks good. Good Luck with the interview.
