I too love my Kreg jig. I got it about seven years ago; it makes building so much easier for this 73 year old Grandma. I generally use glue, for extra strength, with all my pocket holes.

I am amazed at everything you can do, my only suggestion would be put a back on your cupboards. I think you’ll be sorry if you don’t, I’m 74 years old and I’ve lived in so many homes, the cupboards without a back let critters in and also let dust and debris that sheds from the wall into the cupboard… just a little info from my experience no criticism intended.

I'm sure you realize your electrical plugs will be covered when you put in the cabinets. Before you get further along, you should now move those electrical plugs up above cabinet height so that they are perfect height for the counter use of your electrical items. The ugly scars you will make by moving them will be covered by the cabinets or you can pretty the wall before cabinets. Much love from Indiana. Sometimes you are just too close to the project to see the big picture, not trying to be too critical, but helpful. 🙂

I can't understand why u aren't using your perfect plywood for cupboard door fronts and ordinary ply for sides, backs, shelves, etc. Seems like such a waste of special, expensive material to me. My countertops are Corian (like the cookware by Corning Glass, carefree, indestructable, beautiful but not diy). I love them! I wouldn't take formica or granite for a gift! Look into Corian for when you replace the ones you are going to use now, which are inexpensive, but don't last long. You are wonderfully capable., talented & brave. Sooo impressive

Can't wait for the next one! Your footage and explanations were so right on. You have a talent for many things (design, humbleness, delight…) but your ability to break things down into simple terms and processes is what I like best. Thank you!

I can't describe how much your excitement over the Kreg jig made me smile. My late husband loved his so much and made many special pieces using it, which I would then finish. You and Phil working together reminds me of that wonderful time in our life together, and today you gave me an extra special flashback smile, so thank you. Love your channel. 🥰

Well done! I suggest you put the shelves on sliders so you can access what's on them easier. I put in all drawers on my bottom cabinets and only shelves on a double one. I wish I had sliding shelves in that one!

I love watching your videos. I’ve not done anything as large as a kitchen – yet. I really like the music you play on here just don’t know the artists. So far it’s great. Can’t wait to see the end. I’m thinking of making my own kitchen cabinets doors. I have a solid carcass but I don’t like the doors. It’s give me a boost to have a go. Thank you. 😘
