Hi Miss Brenda, I used to love making 15 bean soup just like you're making it now with cornbread. I used to like putting extra chopped onions on mine and sprinkled some cheddar cheese too… It was so yummy and if we had leftovers it tasted even better. God bless you Miss Brenda thank you for reminding us to enjoy the simple things in life…. Much love ☺️

I make 15 bean soup and my family always loves it. I don't cook much anymore my husband passed away in 2016. So I don't enjoy cooking like I used to. We loved cold slaw and a slice of onion and cornbread with all the dried beans . Love your show.
    God bless you

We are bean eaters too so it's fun to see others enjoy our favorite proteins! Thank you for showing us this recipe and for the jello salad! I love mayonnaise too

You got me inspired and yesterday I made your soup as I had a bag of fifteen dried beans. Also had some smoked sausage in the freezer and used that for flavoring. We make a pot of soup every week during the winter. Oh, my dad born in 1912 also loved to watch those old tv black and white westerns. Yes, wish I still had a small grandchild to rock. They grow up soooo fast. Thanks for all you videos. They are so uplifting. Take care, just love ya………..

Miss Brenda, when you got the cornmeal out of the canister, you called it all-purpose, but at the end of the video you said all you need is self-rising cornmeal and buttermilk. I'm confused about which one to use. THANKS!
