I've been searching for "Kait's Kookbook: One Pot Meals" everywhere but I can't find it. Why can't I find it? Because Kait hasn't written it yet! Money making opportunity people! I would buy it in a heartbeat. Get to work!
You are amazing
I love your enthusiasm for cooking, and Joe was on his cell phone like a teenager. I was happy to see him get up, walk the dog and pick up the poop. He should have been helping you and supporting you.
Hi! ☺ I luvluvluvluv pork too! I will be trying your recipe for pork hocks, pork spare rib chunks & pork belly! Thank you for sharing! Happy Camping!! Happy Cooking!! Happy Videoing!! ☺☺😎😎
Thanks Kait I appreciate your explanation of how to do this. I had a pork hock and didn't know what to do with it and didn't want to waste it so I went online and yours was the first recipe that was simple and was promoted with such verve and excitement.
Thank you!! I just found a great sale on pork hocks and had no idea what to do with them. This recipe looks so awesome I was drooling!! 😁👍🏻😋😋😋👏🏻👏🏻🙏
Thanks Kait, it's in the slow cooker as we speak and the smell is amazing. It's 9am here in Norway so by dinner time it will be great. Unbelievably easy and quick.
Your a great cook, I’m impressed. thanks
Kate, I love your recipes for one dish dinners!
Gulp I don't eat this type of meat! However my husband does although I bought the Whole hock by accident and now wanna cook a special dish so here I am! I can do this Recepe and it dies look good! Right now I'm thawing the Hock, but can I cook frozen? Some? OOPS
Can I use Rice Wine?
Another reason for the invention of smell-o-vision!
Wow, you guys have re-edited so many videos! This video is just simply to delicious to touch a second time, but hey, you have to do, what you have to do…constant tweeking is sometimes required right? Cheers you guys 👍👍👍
looks good. nice cook
I bet Joe eats something else after dinner is done
I actually do cook up pork i included the ginger and 5 spice mix , it turns the dish even more intense with flavors. When i put in my crockpot i include portobello mushrooms and carrots but a few times parsnips. I was out of carrots but there both hearty vegetables. Worked wonderful especially when the broth was poured-over rice… Fabulous !!!! Thanks for sharing will be watching👍👍🐻
I would love to make this I just never heard of a pork hock. Where would I find this? Would they have this at a Jmart?
Thanks God I'm watching this right after dinner, the suffering would be unbearable …
BTW could you share what rice you use and how you cook it? And also something on the soy sauce, I have a suspicion it wouldn't be quite right with Kikkoman.
I see Leo's in the background, making room for dinner. LMAO!
Never had ham hocks this way before. Will try it.
Joe, you're a hot mess at the end. lol
Just made this w/country style ribs and it was fantastic. Thank you for the simple, tasty recipe.
kait, you make it look so easy, great job!!!!!
Yeah … I have to agree with other commenters … Joe needs a time out … or many some of that Chinese liquor to "chill out" a bit. LOL 🙂
As for pork hocks … I must have lead a very sheltered life because I don't recall ever having them before. I know that my mother would never had made them … BUT … I do love pork and the hock looked so good I think I could actually smell it. 🙂
Another winner from Cooking with Kait.
Good recipe. I love those pork hocks. My son started cooking with coconut oil. I cook it the same less wine and cinnamon. I add some vinegar. then crockpot. definitely a good dish. or another variation we served with blanched baby bakchoy vegetables
The second kait is much more authentic and better looking!
I like how the alcohol tablespoon is 10x more than the soy tablespoon.
@4:56 you almost can feel the joy in the background
Kate save some for me.
Awesome ending to the video Joe! 😂😂😂
Nice job on the pork meal. My Korean wife also makes great oriental food that everyone really loves. Keep it up!
Don't be upset Kait, I think Joe add an extra flavour to this video and to the meal, as well! 🙂
Nice job Kait! I think Joe needs a time out 😃😇🤔😜
I am with Kate, I love pork… thanks for the upload
Looks really good, I"m going to give it a try.
Could've done without the last 15 seconds. Otherwise, great video.
If you buy an Instant Pot pressure cooker, you can brown the meat before you do the final cooking. We made homemade chicken and dumplings with our cooker and had to brown the chicken thighs. Best dish ever.
I LOVE how healthy your cooking is!!! Beautiful. Hey Joe, I heard of a family that has an inside joke that whenever someone is feeling down someone says the word pork and they have to laugh. I don't know if it works to cheer everyone up, but pork pork pork 😀
Pork Hocks and Sauerkraut, one of the dishes I grew up eating
😭😭 at Joe at the end…too funny! OMG KAIT, that pork BEASTIE was the most beautiful thing EVER! And the way you prepped it & cooked was just PEEFECT! My Uncle in Puerto Rico, would sometimes take a whole pig, fill the carcass with Spanish chillies, native herbs & spices. He'd then dig a hole in the backyard, place the pig inside of it, and slowly cook that bad boy for 6hrs with banana leaves on top of it! That hock you made, was absolutely HEAVEN ON EARTH! No lie, I could almost smell it & taste it right through my screen! A simply WONDERFUL display of Asian culinary skills! If you ever stop doing these cooking shows, Im gonna start taking MASSIVE AMOUNTS of anti-depressants (and in true Trumpian style, Im gonna make you & Joe PAY FOR THEM 😂! This is now officially my FAVE cooking show by you-and Joe at the end, was a brilliant close to the video…super kudos & congrats, on the making of this "episode"! 👏🏻👌👍🍻
that recipe looks delicious and I can't wait to give it a try thank you very much for sharing. I do have the episode idea for you I noticed at the end of the video you made fun of your wife a little bit just playing around I would like to see the video where she kicks your butt LOL haha
that was funny having Leo going poop behind you during the show….lol
great video
