Never use oily fish. No salmon. Use rock fish type
saute, do not brown, some vegies and fish heads, bones and tail add water then boil first and simmer. That is fish stock. Better than vegetable stock
Yours is the more traditional recipe for bouillabaisse. It's so versatile, that you can throw any fish or shellfish into it. Thanks for the baguette tip. I wish I had known about this tip two baguettes ago. 😕
I love bouillabaisse and I love my Instant Pot but I had my doubts about combining them. Seeing your video I think I will definitely try this. Thanks. PS: give Noah an increase in his allowance.
Love how you fail to mention the kind of stock used….lobster? Fish? Veg?
That shiznit looks good as a muuuuug!
Looks good, and great job explaining/demonstrating in a simple way (am gonna surprise my wife with this dinner!)
Would Asian fish sauce in water make a good fish base?
You could get arrested in france for selling this
That's not a bouillabaisse. That's a fish soup. There is a different
Dry white wine in place of the stock (all or part use a bottle of good stuff – 1 glass). Thank me later! 😉
3:18 R2D2: Mmmm, this is yummy
This looks great! i cant wait to try it.
Yes you are right Sharks are mammals not fish bc they give birth, the dont lay eggs!
Same like Chinese finish soup
How many does this serve and can I see a written recipe?
About how many servings did this make? It looks delicious
Nice!
Found it. I look at so many of your wonderful videos that I forgot you had done one! Must try.
Could the stew itself be thickened up a bit with a roux? Or would it take away from it? Trying to have a less watery, thicker stew
Shark is a fish, whales are mammals
AWESOME …. but what about the fresh garlic paste to smear on your bread before dunking in the soup / stew?
THANKS HEY!

Yummy! Your recipe brought back memories!! I miss my home town of San Francisco where in North Beach you can get cioppino, the Italian fish stew. Guess I need to go do a Costco run for the crab meat! That soup looks equally delicious to cioppino!! I learn so much from your videos. Thank you!
You did a good job on this video, I'm anxious to give this a try. Ray
IT wonderful i can't remember the last time i had a great fish stew like that so i'll use your recipes and have a wonderful time eating so thank you
OH…will have to try this recipe! It looks delicious!
is shark a fish! and the kid answers before the adults with the correct answer! Is Canadian education system as bad as America's? 🙁
Hello, what type of stock did you use? Thanks!
merry Christmas Flo.
I truly enjoy watching your cooking videos. The food always looks so delicious but also so approachable. Thank you for making them.
Love your vids, was actually curious about soups–is ten minutes a good general rule of thumb for soups? What if you had say cubed potatoes or butternut squash, would ten minutes be adequate (trying to adapt a recipe of my own). Please keep your instant pot videos coming! 🙂
This looks really tasty. Great tip for the baguette, I'm going to try it the next time it turns into a rock.
Mmm, I need to try this. We do clam chowder Christmas Eve, but maybe this soup, it's leaner.
Lol I love the commentary, another great video guys!
Looks great…YUM
What temp did you use to bake the baguette?
Thanks…:)
