TIP: Flip a jar that is hard to open over and flat-handed whack the bottom pretty good and when you flip it back over… voila!… easy peasy lemon squeezy. It helps release the heat seal on the lid.

We always make yummy crutons with stale bread. Chop it up into little cubes, drizzle with oil, garlic, herbs, salt and spread it on a baking tray. Put in a low oven and stir a couple of times while they dry out. Let them cool and dry out completely then transfer to an airtight container, keeps for weeks. Add to salads, crumble for a yummy pasta casserole topping… or just snack on them!

My daughter and I went to our once a month food pantry today. We've went last month and we were blessed. Today when we went I couldn't believe everything we received. We were both shocked at the amount of stuff we received. It truly will help with our meals for the next week or so. We are extremely thankful!

Thanks for sharing what you received and the meal you made. I love Taste of Home meals.

ETA take the eggplant and cheese you received to make eggplant type lasagna roll ups. I like eggplant parm personally or roasted eggplant. I'd definitely be making some freezer meals with the ricotta. That is an excellent idea.

Pepper jelly! Yes! I want to learn how to make pepper jelly. I've got corn cobs in the freezer that I want to use corn cobs stock to make pepper jelly with. I cannot wait for that video. LOL.

I recommend using any extra bread products you have for bread pudding. You can use any type of bread. You can add any type of fruit that you like into it as well. Bread pudding freezes really well as long as you don't put the glaze on top before you freeze. I love me some good bread pudding! ❤️ – Renee
