The broth would be good for a soup ? Lentil or barley or pea soups ? No? Get bone nutrients w your soups.
No French press
As a vegetarian any advice on what can be used as a substitute ?
I've never added anything to it after, but love your add in suggestions.! I love bone broth, and use it for soup bases too
Hi great video, can you cooked it in pressure cooker???? Pls reply
I am making this for the first time ever. I live in Egypt….I could not find a slow cooker anywhere. I have to do this on the stove. I will let you know how it turns out.
Great video! Totally going to try this tomorrow.
I looked at buying beef and chicken bones… where did you buy yours? It seems very expensive … Walmart actually sells organic beef/chicken bone broth… that's what I have been doing
Roasting is necessary? Is it possible to roast in a pan?
Yes! Fasting!.. awesome…
Hi, please demonstrate how to use French press.
so you add msg ..? kinda defeats the purpose of this whole thing ..
I don't have a slow cooker can I use a pot to boil
What brand is your stand mixer?
Is bone broth only used for fasting and to drink as is? I was hoping to use it for winter soups and meals for added flavor. Maybe make a cauliflower and chicken "porridge" with this. Also, how long does it last in the fridge/freezer?
I wanna try this but i dont have a Slow cooker 🙁 what can i do instead ?
I recommend covering your bones with cold water and vinegar and letting it sit for 30 – 60 minutes before turning your crock pot on. The vinegar will extract more minerals in the cold water.
I've been simmering mine in a pot, but U use freshly squeezed lime. Will start roasting first for better flavor.
After I make bone broth it's just a container straight jello. How do you mix this do you add 1 2 or 3 tablespoons of straight concentrated bone broth taken straight from the refrigerator to hot water? I'm not certain how people mix bone broth
I enjoyed your bone broth video. Would like to see how you used the press to separate broth from bones. I've made bone broth a couple of times and enjoyed drinking it very much, but I can't seem to find time to make it again. You've inspired me to make the effort again. Thank you.
need to try this.. not sure where to find good bones, will try to check local farms if they sell
Do you use chicken wings and drumsticks? You say BONES. Can I buy just bones without meat? I've heard a lot about bone broth benefits and just started keto a few weeks ago. So I found your video looking for a recipe. New subscriber 😊
I'm reading the fat may taste rancid if heated twice on other websites and videos. Is this true? I want to keep the fat with the broth for energy if possible. Do I skim or leave it on? My bones are pure marrow and not a lot or any meat or calligen. I think they are beef femur bones.
cheers guys i am starting bone broth today thnx guys kia ora
I tried it, lost 8 pounds in two weeks BUT it certainly did not help my "gut health". Yes, I use turmeric. I went from having movements after every meal to constipation.
Where did you learn such great English? I am American but live near you in Hungary.
what if you cant get Organic? is this still worth trying? thanks
I made this over the weekend with beef bones only. To be honest though from the point of roasting, the smell was quite off-putting (not stinky, just smelling of bones – not sure how to describe it). Was hoping it would go away but the "gel" still smells like that. I will have some later today for the first time – I am hoping that once I have tasted it, the smell would just "work". I really enjoy your keto videos btw.
Will try this. I need a broth for my fast next Sunday.
Do you drink the broth warm?
I'm just starting my journey this is a great way I'm going to do this, wish me luck
excited to try your recipe this weekend. I am enjoying your channel so much, you take a lot of mystery out of the ketogenic lifestyle.
