    Now that is how a real man opens a box. In my case, being the apex of masculinity i just glare at the box and scare it open, or use my longsword when i’m tiered, or my chainsaw. But i notice and applaud when i see out of the box thinking and you earned a bonus point for hardcorenes.
    It’s like when people ask me why i light my cigarettes the way i do, i ask them back : why use a lighter when i can use my oxygen-butane torch, my 1 watt laser or just heat up a lump of metal with an induction forge or homemade spotwelder.

    Funniest thing is it's a programmable fog or smoke machine. But damn, made a good queso. Note to self, queso fog machine, shoot super heated mystery cheese on a crowd for CNN's New Years Eve 2021.

    Any good instant pot recipe will have you brown the meat first using the Sauté function on this thing. That’s done without the pressure or lid so it’s actual browning first and then you pressure cook it.

    Two things.
    1. 11:34 the white leads are for the pot sensor to ensure the pot is present, they might be using it for temp as well but it's normally just a open/closed loop for the plunger in the bottom of the outer pot to ensure the inner pot is present. The temp is probably via one of the switches with the black or red wires (one for temp and one for pressure) .

    2. 8:50 it looks like the display is sitting in a socket that is soldered to the board so they'd surface mount the components and the socket and flow it and then just plug the display into the socket later. If you look you can see that the display has a black plastic support that clips into the board.

    5:37 ERROR: Water do not cook at lower temperature under lower pressure, it's a common misconception. The reason for water bubbling easier under lower pressure is that the air in the water is under less pressure and therefore do get easier to the surface. A more scientific explanation is that every atom is surrounded by nothing, empty space or 100% vacuum, so it has no influence if the surroundings have more or less empty space. Water boils at 100 deg C no matter if in space or at the bottom of the sea.
