🎄❄️⛄️ So many varieties of biscotti; I’d like to add some chopped Terry’s Dark Chocolate Orange to this recipe; one could even make a GF version using 1-2-1 GF flour.

Yum. I have apricot-pistachio in my cookie jar right now! I like using whole almonds (w the skins), toasted lightly, cooled, then cut into halves and thirds. More chunks in the biscotti!! Also have cake/cooling racks that fit my sheet pans, and plop the cut cookies on those — air circulation so I don't have to flip them.

I may have to switch to grams. I like how things are multiples of 250 here. Thanks!

I love that Glen covers up the KitchenAid logo on the stand mixer and shares his frustrations with the decline in quality they've seen.
We have three pre-Whirlpool KA stand mixers which need servicing roughly every 500 hours and no Whirlpool made KA, the two we had blew up in less than two years.
I'll never buy another post-Hobart KA stand mixer.

My wife likes them bone dry with a firmness Bob Seger would appreciate (like a rock). I’ll have to give these a try as my first attempt and adjust from there. Haven’t found a store bought one she likes.

Glen, you are hilarious. You go through all the trouble to scrape out that mixing bowl with the scraper thingy, and then leave a couple huge chunks of dough behind in the bowl.
    Cooks snack?
