One of my favorite places in the world, fortunate to live close enough to visit often. FYI, at Garrapata, if you hit the north end of the beach, thereā€™s a little ā€˜valleyā€™ of Calla Lillies; itā€™s gotten pretty big over the years. Pfeiffer Beach is semi-famous for an arch in the ocean, and sunset beams through for a period around the winter solstice. Also has purple sand that sometimes washes out of the hillsides. Then thereā€™s Point Lobos in Carmel, which is a really popular place to walk/hike with great views. You may have been to some or all of these spots in past visits, but figured I'd mention them just in case.

Great video and amazing scenery. We visited Big Sur many years ago on our honeymoon so brought back many happy memories, and made us want to visit again and see more of the area. Our son hasnā€™t been yet but would really like to and even wrote a song about it. Thanks for sharing your trip šŸ˜Š

Big Sur is the most beautiful spot Iā€™ve seen in the country so I was really excited to see your adventures there. Weā€™re heading to Maine soon and Iā€™m excited to see how the beauty of the two places might compare. Thanks for sharing your adventures!

I'm only 2 mins into the video but I had to pause and comment that Kona is THE CUTEST. The lil clip with her nose covered in sand made my heart melt. <3

Love Kona! Especially her awesome whiskers and cute short legs. Hiking with my dog (about Kona's size and equally rambunctious) is probably my favorite thing to do – even better than hiking with my husband! JK

Where did you get the National Parks map that you always mark off? I'm trying to find it on the National Park Service website and I can't find it! Can you put up the link? Thanks much! Love your videos! Found you when I was researching for a trip last year, and now my husband and I watch them all!

America! It can be inspiring and beautiful. It can also be dark and ugly. Itā€™s soo many things, but itā€™s ours. Itā€™s our America.

I can truly go on & on about how much i love A+K and their personalities and filming etc but i truly appreciate that they include how they cook and stay healthy on the road. Thatā€™s so important to me as a traveller/trucker to get ideas on what i could be doing.
