Thank you so much for sharing this. I make deals with and promises to myself about finishing larger undertakings and get so annoyed when I don't make it back around for a really long time, or possibly ever.

It's funny, having seen the title, hearing your opening remarks that "if we don't see it, somethings up", I instantly thought, ahh, I bet something will come up. ๐Ÿ˜…

I know you save the egg shells for farm animals but if you dry in oven and pulverize you can add to dog food and help increase their calcium. I did this after my dog gave birth to up her calcium.

I soak my cast iron in hot water for hopefully not too long then scrub with a dobbie, you do not want to use soap. After you hand try the pan, i cover the pan in grease. If i use enough oil or grease and preheat well enough, I don't have trouble with sticking. However, besides fried eggs, i have not had success with eggs in particular in my cast iron. I cook them in a ceramic pan

The smartest thing you ever did was teach your children how to cook. My younger son, now 36 and autistic, can cook not only for himself but often fixes meals for both of us. They may not be perfect but they sure do save me time and effort. AND he knows how to wash dishes, do his own laundry and clean the kitchen and bathroom.

Please forgive me for asking, did all of your hair grow back in yet?? I have Lupus and have tried your extension like items to no avail. It's been an epic fail to make things better. A wig is not an option for me. ๐Ÿ˜ข

I don't have a huge family I cook for, on!y me, however, I still cook a batch of different meals and freeze them for future meals. This way I have home cooked goodness, but DONT have to cook everyday. Cooking ahead can work for any family size!
