OMG I thought I was already subscribed, I'm official now! Crockpots save lives 🙂 We make this meal at my house at least once a month! But, we bread the meat and brown it too, makes the gravy thicker (I used to just dump and go and it was still tasty!)

YES!! I love your cooking tutorial videos, Carolyn!! Also this is PERFECT for this time of year. (love getting rid of all of my vegetables that are about to go bad too!!) Going to try making this recipe this weekend. (I hate browning meat before putting in crock pot so love how you don't do that as well). thank you!!

Thanks CM for yet another crockpot classic! I will have to try mushrooms and the tomato soup addition to our stew! I also add worcestershire sauce- it's supposed to impart a complex flavor to a dish and liven it up! Must've been a tip passed down from my Mom. Those small pearl onions look pretty if I were to make it for company but am content with the regular onions. Love how I always learn something new from your recipes! Will only make the garlic knots for company since I would be tempted to consume the entire batch! And…purple is a great color for you- you are flawless in this video!
