I tried a few of these recipes. As with fresh bread, we always want that hot slice with some butter. BUT I recommend letting them sit in the fridge overnight, like chili they taste way better then next day. in fact, my coworker has several of them asking where I bought them…muahahahahahaha

All of the ketogenic diet is purely EXPERIMENTAL and research on every recipe remains to be done. You do realize what research is, right? It's what you do when you don't know what your doing. No one knows save possibly the Inuit and surely you would not want to live where they live and live the way they have for several millennia. Hell, if you really want a keto recipe, get a cookbook from very early in American history. Americans did, at one time, have a great deal more fat in their diets than we do today. Just remember, it's much simpler and much cheaper to feed people starches and sugars than it is to feed them fats and proteins.

I tried the Malvern best keto re recipe and followed it to a T…I found they tasted really bitter probably cause of the baking powder…I wish I added a little bit of sweetener to balance it out…otherwise would have been perfect!

I just made the Keto Connect bread and it did taste eggy. I tried making a grilled cheese sandwich and I wasn't feeling it BUT I cut the slices up thinner, put some butter on both sides and put them in a frying pan till they toasted up like french toast and put sugar-free maple syrup on it and that's how I used the bread. Honestly next time I make it I'm adding cinnamon and nutmeg and it will be my breakfast french toast bread. Otherwise, I'm not a fan of it for other uses.

I want one I can use as a hamburger bun. I'm searching for a great hamburger bun. Mine was unappealing with that dark psylliam. Husk color. The flax seed one. Will that make a good hamburger bun ? Did you say your crusty lol teasing.

Thanks for such an informative video! I am new to most of the recipes, but have made the Diet Doctor's rolls many times. I add 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast to the dough and it helps mask the psyllium husk flavor. And sometimes, even a tad bit of garlic powder will help as well. Will be trying Low Carb Maven's recipe next though. Thanks for breaking it down for us 🙂 !

Thanks for the bread trials! I've been trying to make the ones from the Diet Doctor but am doing something wrong I think with the measurements. Mine are coming out soft (too many egg whites) but they have made great sandwiches and burger buns! It was interesting watching your experiments.
