The headband looks amazing on you! I love it. Great list. I have watched hundreds of these and I agree with your budget plan although I don't always follow it! I have gone overboard this year because last year was so bad. I sure do miss Chicago! Before Covid I was there twice a month for work. I love the cold and snow. I'm sure I'd get tired of it if I lived there. We always want what we don't have. LOL. It is going to be 80 today in Texas. Tomorrow 56. Texas weather! SMH.

Yes! Never go into debt for Christmas. I’ve never had a credit card and am 43. At first it was because I didn’t trust myself with one. Now it’s just a way of life for me. If I don’t have the cash, we don’t get it. Simple! Debt free at 43 feels pretty liberating.

Hi Daniela! One of your Southern girls here. You are one of my favs!! I see you are recording is in your wonderful new basement space. That makes me so happy for you all. I've been meaning to make a suggestion and I'm finally on it! Have you considered using the left wall going down the basement steps as a "pantry"? I'll explain….you know there are vertical studs every 18-24 inches and there is empty space in between. You can cut through the drywall to the stud edges and cross bar pieces, face it out (like an in-wall medicine cabinet) and put in shelves for canned goods and cannisters that fit, and add molding to hide dry wall edges. You wouldn't have to put doors on it but might need a couple of small wood cross bars or small curtain tension rods to place on outer edge of shelves to be sure cans aren't accidently knocked out going up and down the steps with loads or whatever. You could just use a couple of cute curtains hung from above the cubbies, to cover the open spaces. You could do this all the way down the steps. I don't think you need insulation on that wall but you do of course on the outside wall. Anyway, just a thought. I had to get creative to create a pantry in my home, and I see you have this untapped storage space! Keep up the good work! Love ya girl!

I love how your basement turned out. I think I’m getting that boot thing for my husband that works construction. Hopefully it helps with the odor too cause sometimes it smells like a bag of popcorn just popped. Now onto stocking stuffers!! Thanks for the great ideas.

My 15yo requested the printer that prints pics off of your phone. I’m anxious to see how it works, I like the idea of getting photos out of your phone… and not having to upload them to get them printer from a store.

I bought the new Adele album on vinyl the other day and I don’t even have a record player yet πŸ˜‚ I had to have it! $60 for the record though, INSANE. We always had a record player growing up, and we had hundreds of records. Hoping Santa will bring me one for Christmas lol

This year, I found allot of items listed on Amazon were actually less expensive on the manufacturer website. Prices are much higher this year at Amazon this year. Didn't even buy blackfriday, etc… remember those sales that went on for months and weeks pre Christmas.. Christmas? Lol!

Thanks for these ideas. I'm done I kept it simple this year. I always pay cash. This year I looked for one perfect present for everybody on my list. And I decided not to bake or make candy this year. I overwhelmed myself last year. Yeah Leo got the boot destinker! Huzzah. Happy vlogmas to you and the family! Much love. I haven't been getting your notifications btw.

We’ve been paying for our Christmas in cash for the past 10 years! It’s very rewarding! We have six kids so I start saving in January! That fund not only goes toward Christmas, but also for my kids birthday’s, as well as Back to School! Nothing goes on credit! Ever! πŸŽ„πŸŽ„πŸŽ„
