Am I crazy for thinking that was a laughably small amount of seasoning for that much meat and flour?
Note for anyone trying this recipe with braising steak – allow yourself at least three hours when you start to cook it, or finish it off in the oven or pressure cooker. Two hours on the hob isn't necessarily enough to make it fall apart, or even be tender.
Can this recipe be done in crock pot, and for how long?
