    I love beets. I first had them in elementary school. Pickled beets. I also eat them plain. My. Kids likes the pickled beets the most too. I make my own picked beets.

    I have Sickle Cell disease so beets are great for keeping my blood flowing also I was told they are good for vitamin d deficiency (in which I have as well as AVN from Sickle Cell. The taste is horrible but I make myself drink it
