So meat is in pot one hour and half hours after steam releases…In a Dutch Oven its about the same cooking time, and just as tender. Im happy your happy with your instant pot. Does look good.

I have the same issue with my instapot.gotta use manual for longer cook time yet both power pressure cooker xls are not like that.they let you adjust whatever time you need on any setting.ya I kinda went back to the pots an pans an I have 3 of them..quick for raw potatoes, rice etc I guess or tough cuts meat.

Fabulous! Love my Instant Pots, and using one for making ribs, bone broth, and particularly beef short ribs has been a game-changer for me! I've always loved beef ribs, but they took so much time and "energy" in the oven to cook them until tender that I didn't get them unless they came with a side of beef. No longer! I actually go looking for all types of beef bones to cook now! It's unreal how much actual tender meat comes off the bone when they are cooked in the Instant Pot! Yum! Watching you do it was what made me try them again. Thanks!

Oh my goodness! Hubs and I made these for dinner tonight and they were glorious!

We raise our own beef and I have used (but not enjoyed) short ribs before. This made them wonderful.

Thanks so much Miss Lori! God bless!

The trick to adding honey from a measuring spoon or cup is to give it a small spray with cooking spray prior to measuring the honey. This will cause it to slide right out without having to scrape any out that sticks.
