Damn y’all really hate the color pink. Really think about why you hate it. Is it because society has told you to through the decades? Probably, because it’s a very joyful color but since it’s associated with girls and women it’s seen as classless and juvenile. Imo As a society we need to embrace the PINK! 💓

Omg, I love love LOVE the way you’re treating this trend, with such great respect! The fact that it is not for us, doesn’t mean to trash it. This was a great surprise! ❤❤❤

Oh my, you are such a better person than me. You were so nice about this topic. I'm not. Unless you are under 12 years old, this is the stupidest, ugliest, most insane trend. For kids room great. For anywhere else no.

I have pinks around my house, but I do it for the soft academia/cottagecore vibe that I have throughout my house. I don't think I could look at hot pink and not cry. No offense to people who love it, but it would really annoy my eyes.

Personally I like the hyper feminine decor movement this is part of but it won't be taking over my house anytime soon. (Definitely excited to embrace more saturated colors though)

I think it’s a trend that will fade for homes but for offices and display/show rooms and media rooms I think this will be great if done in a way that can last for years

funny thing is i am certainly a doll collector and have a tonnnn of pink already so when i get a place i can definitely see myself trying to incorporate the pink and my more.. childlike sensibilities into the interior design lol, or as much as i can while preserving my partner's sanity!!! but i wager it'll be pretty easy and less expensive to do so when the time comes considering i'm sure this is a trend that'll blow over for a lot of people and i'll find a bunch of stuff in thrift stores if they donate instead of throwing away in the first place. but also who knows, and will i even need that? like i'm a toy collector and decorate like a child but i have so much pink stuff it'd just make no sense for all my furniture to be pink or something, it'd just wash out the pink from my collections lol

Consider applying these rules for any movie/franchise you love enough to express throughout your home! Stephen King fan? Get inspired by the Overlook Hotel's aesthetic! Display a vintage typewriter? Hang framed art that nods towards some iconic scenes: St Bernards or red balloons maybe?

One thing I appreciate about this topic is that it pushes creatives to consider some different things. Like yes, the Barbie-core can be an extremely hard aesthetic especially if they go the plastic maximalist route. But I appreciate how NIck showed more practical ways to incorporate elements of this aesthetic. People might have overlooked something like rose colored marble before or even the color pink as a central piece of the theme, but Nick gave some great examples on how it can work.
