    I’m celebrating on Saturday.
I baked my turkey yesterday – then divided the dark and white meat among ziplock baggies and added some pan drippings and salted water to each baggie, saving back enough for the gravy.
I made a bread dressing today but over mixed it so it turned out a little mushy.
Tomorrow I’ll make butternut squash and a cooked cranberry sauce. I’ll serve buns and a Norwegian potato flatbread similar to a tortilla in appearance called lefse. I’ll make the apple pie on Thursday. Friday I’ll make mashed potatoes and gravy. I’ll serve a charcuterie board of cheeses, veggies, nuts, flatbread, prosciutto, and crackers. So Saturday I’ll simply have to reheat the food.
    Happy Thanksgiving!

P.S. My favorite Thanksgiving food is my Mama's sage cornbread dressing. Of course my dressing
never tastes as good as Mama's! Haha.

I made 4 low carb. No bake cheesecakes today (each with) 8 oz cool whip, 8 oz. softened cream cheese and sugar substitute (equaling 1/3 cup sugar) and a splash of lemon juice. Forthe family I put in a Graham cracker crust, for me (type 2 diabetes) make it with no crust. They freeze well too. Btw in in South Florida 😊

I made a key lime pie today with hand squeezed key lime juice and even 15 key limes later it wasn't enough juice I worked it out but wanted to cry 😅 also made a French silk pie and a Dutch oven loaf of bread and a few other things. I'm determined to make everything from scratch, it may be the death of me but I'm determined to succeed! I hope you and your family have an amazing holiday!
