I mean even if you were being lazy does it matter since the kids are still eating? I make hash browns sometimes I shred the potatoes myself other times I buy the little rectangular ones. I make the croissant sandwiches ahead of time because the boxed ones are expensive. School starts this week! I have 2 left in school. 11th and 6th.

I've watched 2 videos this week where chefs have both said adding salt to eggs before you cook them makes them tougher or chewy. They said to add salt & pepper after they've been cooked. I've never heard this in 40 years πŸ˜ƒ

I use eggnog in place of milk during the holidays or sometimes vanilla or pumpkin spice coffee creamer. I definitely use pumpkin pie spice instead of just cinnamon or nutmeg especially in the fall. We love French Toast with butter and powdered sugar.

I have made these for years. Much easier if you mix eggs, sausage and cheese in one bowl. I also put in shredded potatoes and mild salsa. All in on bowl. Use an ice cream scoop then.

Kimmy, you r not being lazy. I worked 3-11 a lot when the children were in school. We got them alarm clocks to get up, on own. Their first grade teacher had us parents to get in the habit of making sure their homework was done and all backpacks were pack and at the door. She also got us to not run their forgotten items to school if they forgotten them., don’t worry they feed the children if lunch was one of those forgotten item. This made my children independent and responsible. Also they laid out what they were going to wear and their shoes also. Made for a happy mornings and no crying. Back to lunches. I had lunch stuff in refrigerator and all what went with lunch making. They made their own lunches starting when they were age 7. A lot of time they made their lunches the night before. They are now 48.46 and 44. They still pick out their clothes the night before. Believe me after not getting to bed early because of working 3-11 it helped me to get out the door to take them to school. So you making breakfast , lunches and snacks. Is actually helping everyone start they day happy.

We love yogurt with berries, granola and a little honey for breakfast. Breakfast burritos are a hit in my home too! We do add potatoes to ours, usually the mini tator tots that we bake until crispy in the oven before adding to the burritos. And I love making French toast a million ways. The go to is eggs, heavy cream, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. During Fall, I'll do pumpkin pie spice, or apple pie spice. And during December, I swap out the heavy cream for egg nog πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ Love watching your freezer meals ❀

Kimmy I need to give you my French toast syrup. I used to live in Provo and worked at Magelbyes. This recipe is my take on their syrup. This is NOT their recipe. 1 cube of butter, 1 cup of sugar melt together and then add 1 cup heavy whipping cream and 1 tsp vanilla. Very low cal πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ but very yummy

I sometimes make breakfast burritos or sandwiches for the freezer. That's the only way I would ever eat breakfast (unless someone else made it). I am not a morning person and hate to cook first thing in the morning. Everything looks good and I know your family loves you for it.

Such good ideas! I remember watching you cut all the sandwiches in different ways. When we make breakfast burritos I cook the veggies, meat, potatoes and eggs together. Then I add the cheese to the individual burritos. I have done zucchini, peppers, onions, carrots, etc. with sausage or bacon. I have a veggie hater and he loved them, so I call that a win!

These are always such fun videos. I do breakfast burritos with pepper jack cheese, wrap in waxed paper then parchment. To reheat they go in the microwave 30 seconds then in the air fryer. They come out so crispy and good that way. I remember those videos where you explained the sandwich cutting system, haha.
