They should stay in the incubator for 2-3 days before moving them to a brooder. They need the warmth to completely dry out and be ready feed and drink. We also help the ones that can’t crack their shells completely. If you see blood then stop immediately!!

I loved this video. Don't remember ever seeing baby chicks be born. I would love to do this but would have to give babies away. Thank you for sharing. Love from Iowa.❤🐣🐥🐔🐓

I do this every year in my classroom.. I have an incubator that someone gave me and I have to turn my eggs.. I really need one of these that turn its self.. but I’ll have to buy one myself cause it would take more then half my school money they give me to spend 😢

I never feed my chickens eggs shells as this could make them to start eating eggs. Once that starts, it is REALLY hard to get them to stop. I enjoy hatching chicks! So fun!!

Please, please don’t leave the egg turner in. Chicks find it hard to unzip when their egg is within that little compartment. They can also get their fragile legs and toes caught. Moving & chirping chicks encourage others to hatch they do not damage other eggs.
