😉THIS IS HOW I PREPARED MY CROCKPOT BLACKEYE'D PEAS on 6/9/2018……THANKS!
    👉all ingredients are from walmart.

    1. I pre-soaked a 1lb bag of Greatvalue Brand Blackeyed Peas in the fridge for 8hrs in 5cups of water & 1 tbsp of Baking Soda. (I Picked & Rinsed them be4 Soaking, & I Rinsed & Drained them after Soaking, & placed them back in the fridge. Next

    2. I Turned on My Crockpot to (HIGH)
Poured 6 cups of Greatvalue Brand Low Sodium Chicken Broth in. Next: I Seasoned the Broth with "a little Garlic" & Onion Pwdr, Season-all Seasoned Salt, A dash / or a sprinkle of Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, & 1 Bay Leaf. *season per your TASTE. Next:
(I tasted the broth & it was perfect!)
BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVER SALT

    3. Next: I Placed 1 "HUMONGOUS" Hamhock by itself "Without The Peas" In the Crockpot,….I let the Hock cook on HIGH from (8am to 12pm) without checking on it, it was falling off the bone after those (4hrs yay!)

    4. Next: I Got the Peas out of the fridge. "remember they were already Rinsed & Drained of any liquids" I Poured them into the Crockpot With The falling off the bone Hamhock, I also added 1/2 slice of a large Green Bell Pepper & Continued to Cook on HIGH until 2pm, I could have cut it off at 1:45pm tho.
Everything was DONE! & FLAVORABLE! OMG!

Great product>>>ur2.pl/1035 i've had earlier versions of electric pressure cookers and either sent one back and donated the other. They were clunky, heavy and not user friendly. I saw a demo on this one and decided to give it another try. There is a small learning curve but, so far, I'm impressed and very happy with the purchase. It's quick, easy and the clean up is a breeze.
