He’s enjoyed early success with the help of the previous manager’s foundation, but once he gets his stamp on a team, its squad becomes bang average, bloated and devoid of leaders. The man belongs neither near a trophy nor in the top half of a strong league.
Don't underrate Darren Ferguson, he's gotten 4 promotions while at Posh and a promotion at Doncaster Rovers I believe. Only reason why he hasn't gone any higher is that he struggles at Championship level. But to get that many promotions is quite incredible, no matter the level.
