The fact that you were like "hey, no pressure, I'm not asking you to host or to even let us in the door. I'm not even the one delivering it, so we'll leave it at your doorstep. I just want you to be fed and have ONE evening where you don't have to think about dinner." I LOVE this. As someone who gets extreme anxiety with hosting, especially post partum (I can't imagine having twins), I would be so incredibly thankful for the gesture.

You're advice about making her a meal and how you didn't want her to feel pressure was the nicest and sweetest sentiment. I honestly felt touched by that. I think sometimes people think oh I'll hold the baby but sometimes it's the mother that needs the meal ๐
When one of my son's left home he called & asked, mom why didn't onions make us cry when I lived at home? I said, the onion you cut up wasn't cold was it. He said, it was room temp. I said, there's the difference I keep mine in the fridge. He now stores his in the fridge & doesn't have any issues. Fyi we don't wear contacts. Just thought I'd state my experience. Love your videos!!!
