Not sure if that's accurate, simply because your liver dumps glucose into your bloodstream between 7-9 every morning,it's called the dawn effect,so a better time to do this test would be late afternoon.

Hey just wanted to say I think the difference of the HERO bars/treats is they are the ones with Allulose. Just was at my local Target & they have a huge new selection of Quest products. Had both the blueberry HERO and Chocolate Carmel Pecan HERO bars. Tried the pecan one, not too bad. Curious if having the allulose might be better on our stomachs??

Kristi: based on your comment about allulose- Do you usually spike with allulose or were you just commenting that the carb count didn't match up with net until you saw that allulose was in it?

Those (Quest Hero) are the only bars that I actually like, and I think they taste as good as a candy bar. Hence, I don't buy them or keep them around the house. That being said, it is a great option if I am going to a movie or something bc it really feels like a special treat then.

OK lots of comments about checking the regular keto bars. I did a glucose test on the cookies and cream Quest bars. My glucose elevated 1 point at the 30 minute mark. Not clean keto for sure. But so handy to keep in my purse when I am out. Hard to find a decent meal out there. Next I am checking Quest Birthday cake my personal favorite

Ketone levels going down could be normal, but wow, that spike! That would definately make me not eat those. I do need to check my sugars with those, as those bars are my favs. I'll finish up my egg fast tonight, then test with my Quest bars on Monday. I wouldn't mind seeing you test with the regular caramel chocolate chunk bar. Or how about one of those protein drinks that a lot of keto-ers use, like Premier, or the Quest protein drinks.

Great information Kristi! I’ve never tried these, and I will pass on them when I see them. I did want to ask if you’ve ever tried and Kiss My Keto brands? I grabbed a few bars at Sprouts, and I really enjoyed them. This would be an interesting brand to research. Thank you for your wonderful videos πŸ₯°

Whoa!! If I had not already eliminated Hero bars (due to some intense digestive issues) I would eliminate them now.
I however have a cabinet FULL of the Quest Cookies (I will cry if I have to eliminate those) and the bars.
The cookies are so good and so darn easy to take on the road!
I really ought to test myself but it is so hard to get clean results in my busy life.
Thanks for taking one for the team!

Hi. Can you please test with the regular quest bars? I just ate my first quest bar today – birthday cake flavor. I don’t have equipment to test, and I’m not seeing anyone else online testing the original bars.

my favorite is the raspberry, which is not a hero style. I've been doing keto for a full year. I have never used a monitor yet. Thanks for showing this video. Very interesting. Yes. I'm interested in the regular quest bar test.

Wow!… a 29 point spike seems like a lot to me!.. maybe just eat half a bar at a time but I don't know if that would make much difference…
Thanks for the tests and have an awesome day Kristi!! πŸ™‚

I used to eat Quest bars all the time. Then after doing some research, I found out about the cheap ingredients (GMO) they use while profiting off of marketing low carbs; primarily to consumers on Keto. Any type of palm oil is not healthy unless it's Red palm oil. I tried a HERO bar out of curiosity and couldn't believe how sickening sweet it was. In my opinion, if it tastes like a candy bar, the ingredients cannot be great. Thanks for the glucose review!!
