Just a friendly disclosure – I’m not the expert on canning. I’m sure this is not the proper, technical way to do it. This is something that has been passed down. I’m not necessarily recommending this method. This is just what I know. I’m sure there are better, safer ways to do it. I had a lot of concerned people here in the comments. 😉 And I will do some more research on things. Thanks ❤️❤️

Love your blog and decided to plan a trip in our RV to Holmes County. We just got back a couple of days ago, and truly enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful time! I took notes from your videos about Holmes County and they were so helpful! We had dinner at East Main in Baltic, shopped at Ruby's Country Store, Walnut Creek Cheese (bought the Soft Sweep and love it) and had 2 meals at Boyd & Wurthmann. We're going back next fall! Also going to try your chili soup. Sounds yummy!

I am like you I don’t enjoy pie making , so I always use the boxed dough and it works! Specially now it is pie season, love your recipes I have made a few and they are always a hit with my boys and grandchildren!Thank you!

You could store some jars in any room with an AC—under your bed, at the back of any closet, including older children's closet. IDK how many you have, but if you have one who won't kick the jars accidentally, use part of their closet.

Love all your videos! Never heard of grape pie but it sure looks delicious! If you need a place to store some of your canned goods I live very close to you and could take some off your hands! Lol. I am going to order Hope's Table and try my hand at those cinnamon rolls. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Lynette, I love to can, and am no expert, but the National Center for Home Food Preservation requires that any canned food involving meat must be pressure canned. Also, when water bath canning, the water is to be 1-2 inches over the tops of the jars. I hope this helps in any future canning. I just wouldn't want your family to get sick. I always enjoy your videos.

That grape pie mixture looks amazing. Like who would have thought that mixing those things would create such a nice filling? I miss Pennsylvania and all my Mennonite friends so much. Texas doesn’t really have any Mennonites. I am not myself but love the culture. Are there many Mennonites in Florida?
