At this stage of life, it's been really helping me to cook one or two proteins at the beginning of the week and keep them in the fridge. I don't really have a plan, but for this week I have 4 pounds of ground beef I browned today sitting in the fridge. So now I can throw together a quick pasta with meat sauce, sloppy joes, tacos, chili, or whatever else I feel like using ground beef to do this week.

Glad the kids had fun at the movies! We went to see the Garfield movie a couple weeks ago. For 4 movie tickets, 2 popcorns and 4 drinks it was 93 dollars plus tax! I about fell over. Thats why we dont do it all the time. Its really sad! Theres no reason they need to make that much profit on snacks. Ive been binging all your videos today I have to get caught up on. I havent been feeling the best so its like hanging out with a friend lol!

@AllThingsHome. Oh Tiffany Do I understand feeling off axis without a meal plan in place. I am "eating down the freezer" (i.e. full bore pantry challenge) too. I've been doing it quite awhile but I'm dealng with a health issue that has kind of knocked me down and I haven't planned for about a month. Nope. That does not work for me. I am going to get even more granular planning all of it like you do. All of it, starting with the vegetables I want to have then filling in with the meat and sides if I'm having sides. Snacks too, usually just fruit but planned. Somehow if that's done I can prep ahead some and get started in the morning. I'm too fatigued by suppertime to be trying to figure it out or even execute the plan. So back to planning and early prep. Good luck to us. 🍉

Instagram said you went to sams 😂😂 you will get it! Maybe try now planning for 1 week at a time. Including Layla and Wilder options and see how that goes. Then b4 ya know it a week will be a month since you like that best. I love bi-weekly planning myself ❤❤❤❤

You have tons of meals going thru your kitchen in a week. I'd be confused also. Don't feel bad. Look at the food and snacks you make. I'm sure it does help to food plan but you do so much. Your meals always look amazing.

I'm so glad the kiddos had a good time at the movies. My local theater has what they call their free family film festival during the summer so they show free family/cartoon movies every Wednesday morning. I'll have to pay for concessions but I'm planning on taking my 3 and 5 year old this Wednesday. My 3 year old has never been to the movies so hopefully it goes well😅. This is his test before I pay for tickets to see the new Despicable Me 4 movie. Sorry your bread didn't work out. You have inspired me to start making my own bread. I can't afford a stand mixer yet but I found a really good bread machine for $15 at my Goodwill. Let me know if you have any good bread machine recipes😊.

When you have time, make, bake or stock up on several items that your children can eat. Something easy you can just pull out. Give yourself grace on having to fix everything. You can probably make toast out of the bread., when you make a dish they can eat, make two and freeze one. You are so good at taking care of your family, you will get into a routine.

I think everybody goes through times when they feel like they are “flying by the seat of their pants”, out of rhythm. I’m doing that now also. I just keep trying to keep as much routine as I can.

My niece gets up at four in the morning and does her workout before work . She’s the secretary for the principal and she has to stay on the same routine all summer or she doesn’t feel good. My Doctor told me to buy a treadmill so need to research that. Ribs look delicious . Great video thank you ! 🍞🥪🍞

I do find that my days feel less stressful when I meal plan. And, it really helps if I get most of the prep done in the morning because I'm pretty tired by dinner time. I too function better when I have a plan and have less things to think about.

There is a learning curve with gf baking, and unfortunately it's usually expensive and feels so wasteful. Don't get discouraged! 😊

Don’t beat yourself up about feeling scattered and confused about the meals. Basically, you are having to think about 2 options for every meal because of Wylder’s and Layla’s dietary restrictions. That’s a lot of work! I’m sure it’ll get better as time goes on. Hang in there- I’m rooting for you!😊😊😊

Look into Einkorn flour. It’s more easily digestible for those of us with gluten sensitivity. I’m okay with Einkorn flour but I have a very mild sensitivity so I don’t know if your families experience would be the same. Just worth a thought.
