Pressure cooking is greatly underrated and very under used in modern kitchens. I've had a stove top pressure cooker and a slow cooker for years. Both are perfect for dishes like this and they save money on energy. If you have plenty of time, use a slow cooker but if you're pushed for time and can't wait for a slow cooker to do the job, a pressure cooker will do it just as well but in a fraction of the time. You can buy a decent stove top pressure cooker and a good slow cooker for far less than a hundred pounds, so no need to spend mega bucks on a multi cooker either. We've just bought a Ninja 15 in 1 for the convenience but ill still be holding onto our old appliances just in case.

I've had my foodi a few months now & I've found if you make ur stock with boiled water it comes to pressure so much quicker & next time try pressure for 20 mins as that seems to be the sweet spot bonus is u use even less electricity! Also, look out for the ninja crisper tray/pizza dish they call it both, I love mine but didn't realise until after I bought mine that Ninja has an outlet store on ebay. Thanks so much for what you are doing x

I love my 15 in 1 try doing some chicken breasts some seasoning on it pressure cook then shred it and put on sandwiches or cut up and put it in a curry. I suppose you could just make a pressure cooked curry but I just pc'd the chicken on its own because it was my first time using the pc function and I needed the chicken to cook fast. Hahah
