I was terrified of pressure cookers but found that these Instant Pots are pretty much fool proof. I use mine at least 2x a week. I need to buy another insert so I can use it more often. I make up big batches of food and eat it all week. Thanks for showing us your new one. Mine is older and is not safe for canning can't wait to see ur next video.

Thanks for reviewing both of these products. I was wondering about both of them. They look like they are worth purchasing, when I can save up to buy them. Thanks for the review!

Just remember Sister that in the old days using the old ways they still used all of the modern conveniences available to them. So there's no reason why we shouldn't use what's available to us! 🙂

If you're not pressure cooking then sealing and venting makes no difference. You see my ninja foodi has a basket like that in it to crisp up whole chickens and to do things like homemade fries in along with baked potatoes and hamburgers and steak and chicken pieces.

I have a ninja foodi which does all of that stuff including dehydrate. It pressure Cooks bakes broils slow Cooks is a rice cooker dehydrates and there are a few more things oh it makes yogurt. It does tell you that it's sealed it says Sealing and the other side says venting but I don't use an instant pot because it doesn't do as much as my ninja foodi. That is not an instant pot I just looked up but all of them say seal or vent in one way or another with a little knob somewhere around the lid.

I have a large and small Instant Pot and use it all the time. I thought we had to put 1 cup of water in order to bring it to pressure. I'll have to read through my manual again. I'm thinking about getting an air fryer.

Please be extra careful with air fryers in general. Research them and house fires on you tube as some of them have caught on fire, so you want to be right there with it, just in case. ❤👍

I love my Air Fryer and use it often!! I admit, I am a little intimidated by my pressure cooker. I remember my Mother using her pressure cooker on the stove when I was growing up and she always warned us kids to stay clear! It wasn't safe!! I only within the past couple of years got a pressure cooker. Like what I've made in it so far but I still don't use it a lot. I am interested in finding out more about this Instant Pot way of cooking…Love your videos!!

Sometimes just cooking the old fashioned way is just best…..lol. Although, I do like your frier. It is said that you can only can items that are "water bath" canned items in the insta pot. I love rice myself, but hubby only likes wild rice….figures. I was given about 15 lbs. of lemon rice, which is just lovely. God bless you sis! You are awesome.

I have an air fryer but it only has a small basket for cooking, it's more trouble than it's worth, I do want to get an insta-pot and have been researching for what's going to work best for me and my family xx

A group of us at work have wondered about both the instapot and air fryer. We wondered if it would be worth it to buy them or if they would be hard to use. I really enjoyed this! The instapot is a no for me, only because i don't see myself being able to cook for just one in it. It would be great for two or more people. I didn't think I would want an air fryer….now I want one. Lol! Your meal looked so yummy! If I lived near by I would have just happened to 'drop by' 😸

Meal looks good…don't know about all the gadgets and the electric bill. Yes they are quick and possibly a time saver…but I still can't see passed the cost + the space to store + electric bill. Any thoughts to get passed…love my crockpot, toaster oven and outdoor grill.
