Nice, very nice. Cheers for the recipe. My air fryer arrived today. This might be the first thing I cook in it! Also who would downvote this video? It was well filmed, informative and had some humour as well! People are weird.

Thanks for your bilingual recipe. I’m an American born Chinese and sometimes a dummy. After experimenting 3 times I finally got it perfect. Bear in mind I’m just a novice at this. I used to get my char siu at the store in San Francisco Chinatown. Now I can make my own, thanks to you. My ex used to scold our son using a similar saying “ giving birth to a char siu would have given me something good to eat.” Keep up the great work and keep the recipes coming. Steve

Only thing better that char siu is watching my twins helping mum cook, cut and eating it. They really enjoyed this and it is easier to make with air fryer that traditional method. Thank you^^

Even as white as I am I can see this is the easy way to make something that resembles Char Siu… and I will stick with pork belly. Easy and fast isn't the way to do it right.

Just my opinion, I think the preference with fat or no fat depends on what you are using the charsu for. Lean is good for eating straight up. Fat is good for cooking with vegetables or for clay pot dish.

Another great video. I love char siu. Had a craving for it 2 days ago and bought a pound from the store. Wish I saw your video sooner . Yours look better. I will make my own from here on and will try your recipe. I love Lee Kam Kee products.

Thanks for this content! I'm definitely subscribing now. Was contemplating just walking into a restaurant here in Guangzhou and applying for a part time job so I can learn how to make all these delicious foods. But now I've hit the jackpot with your channel 🙂

Wow, did not know you could buy Char Siu sauce in a bottle. I just bought a three pack of the brand in your video on Amazon. Can't wait to try it. What was the cooking spray you used?

I love the shortcut with the Char Siu Sauce. It beats mixing all kinds of ingredients to make the same stuff. Do you have a shortcut recipe for Roast Duck?
