    Good evening John. Loving all of your videos. Keep up the great work. Like you, I’ve been through quite a few inserts, handles and the entire contraption. Bend, break or the “Razor sharp” blades bend. Good ole sweet taters are like making big rocks into little rocks.
    I recently bought a vertical with 3 handles on the side with rack and pinion gearing. This is the best that I’ve ever owned for sweet taters and onion petals. Not the fastest but very sturdy and less than $100
    The best for Russets is what you have above. It’s a speed demon compared with russets.

    I used to call it "Rooster Sauce" too when ordering at the commissary at work. Excellent on Thai food, by the way. Ya know, I am not a fan of sweet potatoes. They always come out mushy in baking. But this "fry" method looks interesting and I'm going to try this! Thanks as always John!
