Don't you love it when you have a stash of things you need…repurposing has been a favorite thing I do since a very young girl. I really like my spice drawer.. right next to my stove and in my food prep area. Is that a 'white' Bird of Paradise? Have one between my house and a neighbor. They get huge. I also have the Strelitzia. Love using them inside as cut flowers. Those and plumeria are popular in the plant thievery community. 👀

Goodness, you were on a roll, Ellen. Great job with the kitchen organization.👏That Bird of Paradise looks wonderful in your living area. It will probably contribute greatly to improving the air quality on that level, don't you think? The rain continues here and guess what?? I discovered I have a big leak that emanates from where the A/C unit is attached on the roof above my middle bedroom – the messiest, "catch-all" room in the house. The ceiling is so saturated, it's buckling downward and the accumulated rain water is dripping from the middle of that mound. I can see the dollar signs now. I'm going to call the roofers in the morning and start moving junk out of that room. 💰

KCMary…….Ellen, you talk about going to Dollar Tree….I have been watching the ladies go and film up and down the store rows…..I am so surprised how they have upped a notch or two for decor items, seasonal and holiday items for $3 & $5….I was impressed….it’s been two or three years since I have been it there…I would have so much fun spending mad money of $15 to $20 each time in there☀️☀️ps. I did hear how they went from a $1….but I believe it made their store and shopping experience better☀️☀️
