Mondays are my craziest days. Thank goodness I have that special appliance that can cook dinner for me while I’m out running …

I love my Hamony
have to say, I was the big kid watching and laughing at it going backwards.
Oh Jill. I have a story about this recipe for you. My husband and I made this recipe 3 months, or so, back. We grow Scotch Bonnet peppers in the greenhouse, as being in Texas, we love, love, love heat. Well, he wanted to put one in the stew. I said we shouldn’t do it. He insisted. We did. I couldn’t eat the stew. I had two bites of it and died. So, yesterday we made the stew again. (What took so long? I don’t know…..life!). Anyway, he was NOT allowed to add anything in this stew. I added 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and it was great. Not too hot or too mild. We used the chopper slammer on the large dice (1/2”) for all the veggies and used a sweet potato in the mix too. I then timed it 1 minute on high and 15 minutes of keep warm, then a quick release. The next day the potatoes were just perfectly done. Here is the key: I always add a tablespoon of cilantro chopped to the top of the stew in the bowl, and also add 1 tablespoon of Maple Syrup to the soup bowl as well. OMGee as you say! That was heaven in a bowl. Thank you so much for the recipe. Here is another little trick, if you like cilantro, to add to the stew. You know those perfectly good stems below the leaves of cilantro? I take a bunch of them, cut off the bad ends at the bottom, and the leaves at the top, and finely chop just the stems, to add to the stew. They work very well. Just a little trick. After pressure cooking you don’t even know they are there, but the taste. I bought the stems as well as the leaves, so why not just use them??? Thanks again my friend. 😘
I’m going to try this. Love it cause it’s ingredients I have on hand. Cool production – the view of all the prep, you in the corner, explaining. And the music at the end – perfect!
Anyone else here in 2020 Quarantine looking for something yummy to make 🙋♀️
I like the Voice over, ingredient qty & method with the video – great for us men trying to do stuff – thanks 😄
You're just an awesome of a wonderful woman! Always have fun watching your videos, they make me 😄
I'm 32 years old and I thoroughly enjoyed the backwards footage 🤣
Whose here in October 2019 planning on making this for dinner on a chilly autumn day…? 🙋♀️ 🍁🍂
That looks delicious. Will definitely try.
Gonna try this recipe. I have 5lb bag of black beans…. By the way the ending was great
I adore your accent <3
I love you! You never fail to bring a smile to my face and make me laugh. AND your recipes are great!
I really like the way you do your videos, with you narrating what you are doing, in the corner of the screen. Compared to others yours videos are quit easy to follow. Very good idea !!
Backwards video was hilarious. You really are crazy girl. 😂😂
Wondering what size can of tomatoes?
Now I know what we’re having tonight 👍😂
Jill, LOVE the ending on this. Hilarious! 🙂
Just made this! Yummy good! My cookbook from Jill is coming today in the mail! Super psyched!!!! Love your videos Jill!
Did this only need 3 minutes to cook because it was gonna sit on keep warm for hours? If you wanted to eat this right when it was done, how long would you set the timer for?
I have never seen Hominy… well, I've never looked, either, but it is not familiar to me. It looks a bit like corn. Do you think a can of corn would be a decent substitute?
You are so fun to watch! Love your videos and recipies!
You're my favorite. Seriously. You & your recipes frickin' rock! You've helped converting my 12 year old children, one of which is an especially picky eater — much easier than I had anticipated. THANK YOU!!! 😀
