These studies are all biased and flawed. Inject 800x the amount of something we consume into lab mice and they're going to get sick and/or die. Then they admit they can't extrapolate that data into real world settings, rather they take the unhealthiest people with 3+ comorbidities and ask them, "do you consume erythritol?" 🤦‍♀️

I’m not completely sold on that study either. It wasn’t peer reviewed, they said it was associated risk not causative, and the amount they had people consume was 2-3 times higher than what the average person would be consuming. Many of the people they studied already had underlying health issues going on…diabetes, hypertension etc, so their chances of stroke were already higher. They’re going to need to do more proper studies on erythritol, but I agree with you- what’s worse? Being overweight and what comes with that or erythritol? I’ll probably cut back a little bit, but I’m not consuming high amounts anyway 🙈

Just FYI I did speak with 2 of my DR's and they both sd that they would be concerned if I was eating it all day in most foods… What they are finding is that the Erythritol makes your platelets very sticky and this can cause clots which then can lead to strokes, heart attacks etc….They sd to go thru what I eat daily and watch the things that have the Erythritol in it. I know it is in my sweetener that I use in my tea (hot) which I drink a lot so I will lower the use of that in my tea…I do like hot tea plain so that's good. I know for me I am trying to go less processed food and things filled with artificial sweeteners etc…. I would suggest if your worried consult your DR's…

Facebook has frozen my account so haven’t been able to access the group. I am definitely 💯 a coke girl, when only Pepsi is available I turn my nose up 😅

Dee, I know someone who hasn't gone to a meeting since covid hit. She enters her weight in the app. And she's 4 pounds over goal. Well she got the email. It seems to be very inconsistent information being given.

I agree with you…very suspicious that the lifetimers do not weigh for a year. So easy for the weight to creep back on without accountability. Things that make you go hummmm🤔
