I'm making these tomorrow morning. Is it possible to grate the potatoes and do the water squeezing before I go to bed? This will save me from having to get up at the crack of dawn!
My wife is pregnant with our twins and craving hashbrowns lol here I am learning how to make them to feed her craving lol happy wife happy life

Natashas, Thanks for the fun (and tasty!) HB recipe. Really enjoy the light and entertain way you present the recipes. Beats watch the usual boring recipe videos. Thanks 😋
I Love Watching You Teach Us How To Cook 💖
Been burning my hash browns for too long. I will try this to the letter & report back Natasha!
My mother taught me close to this only we added an egg and real shredded onion and the green onions and flour, after fried we served with syrup, omg so yummy
Great Job Very Great Job I am impressed 👏 Natasha!!!!
I think you forgot to soak it in cold water to remove starch
love the vibes
I learned something there! I'm 59 and have never cooked for myself much. It's starting to get easier though!
I did see shark 🦈 😁
Try freezing after shredding. It helps with crispiness.
Yep. Both hands in the air.
Would frozen shredded potatoes work? I ask because I just shredded an entire bag of potatos. I soaked them in cold water then blanched them for about 2 minutes. Cold water bathed them, removed excess water, flash freezes them and put 2c in freezer bag. I was hoping I can add the frozen potatos to cool water for a few minutes to unfreeze them and then cheesecloth them to remove water and continue? Anyone tried this? ETA. Cook time would probably be a few less minutes because they were blanched
these are Belarussian recipe, called Draniki. She just made them bigger
special😊😅
Looks terrible, like a heart attack. I can do better on my first try ever.
less theatrics would be better
Obnoxious talk and squeezes the water back into the potatoes… Brillant
The shark is in the flowers
No need for towels to remove the moisture.I have found that best way is to use a salad spinner.
Draining tip was nice. tyvm for posting.
I had to watch this TWICE to f for that pesky little shark! It’s okay though because I enjoy your videos! Snarky makes a nice little flower topper!

My husband is a big fan of potatoes, thanks for sharing video,I can tell by looking that your hash brown was so tasty, I'll apply this way to make it for my hub.I definitely love your video.
Based on my own personal mishap and hundreds of dollars spent for my portion of the emergency room bill, when peeling the potatoes, either: (1) use the safety glove shown in the video, or (2) stick a fork into the end of the potato and use it as a handle to help prevent the potato peeler from gliding over the end of a finger that's holding the slippery spud. A few years ago, while peeling some russet potatoes, I was using an extremely sharp, serrated potato peeler (which I've since swapped for a cheap $0.99 peeler) and sliced the tip of my left index finger. We were unable to stop the bleeding, despite applying heavy pressure and holding my hand over my head. So, I ended up in the emergency room getting some shots in my finger to numb it (which wasn't entirely successful) before getting three stitches. Hopefully, this suggestion will save someone else from a similar fate.
Me thinking after subscribing would send her straight into 3milli 😅 I guess the jokes on me son
I like fried ketchup – light frying changes its texture and it seems to disappear into the food, but the flavor is delicious.😀
Sharkey @ 4:56. The hashbrowns look delish!!
