I have paused the vid at 4 32 and I am guessing south korea
I win, l got ten points. 😃 A fun time. Thank you. 💜
Polish zapekanka looks interesting with those mushrooms. It must be Slavic thing to call food toasted/baked under cheese zapekanka. In Bulgaria it could be almost everything (incl.leftover veggies, salami, etc.) put in a small dish covered with cheese and trown in the oven. Breakfast food like Polish zapekanka, called princessa (noone knows why, don't ask) or strandzhanka (after Strandzha Mt.) could be with or without sausage, ham and most frequently minced meat, peppers, tomatoes,… between cheese and slice of bread. There are even brands that sell minced meat specially for making these at home. If lazy you can have simply cheese toasted over bread. One of more traditional versions, however, is made of salted cottage cheese and eggs over bread – you toast it to nearly caramel brown color, the taste has nothing to do with melted aged cheeses. Thinking of pizza and beans on toast I assume that things over/inside bread is most European food concept ever. Thanks guys for your great content!
Is Northern Ireland a country? That's me offended.
I also thought Hawaii and refused to write USA for the same reasons as Jamie. This game is so hard.
Spam musibi is baffling to the UK. West coast USA. For the win.
I do love this game series. I also love the A-Z series. I'd also love a miniseries where you play a series of Bennuendos and try to guess the dish that inspired them. There's been a lot of hilarity in the past ten years or closeish that I've been watching. Since 2014 I've been subscribed.
actually i didn’t know that’s bakso 😂
I see that your channel is very valuable. I would love to repost your whole channel, without changing anything, on the nice platform named Ganjing World. If you agree with that, please let me know. Thanks!
I'm from Indonesia but I can't even recognise that it's bakso :')
About last one:
I was thinking it was austria and I'm from croatia.
primitive measuring on google earth put austria closer to brasil,
So this might be a scandal.
Aloha from Hawaii!! Please do a Hawaiian food episode on the channel. It would be a great opportunity to learn about the history. Yes, Hawaii is not a country, but it once was independent of the US. Colonization, military exploit, & immigration has done a lot to change the culture/cuisine.
We in the States definitely consider Hawaii as part of our country, so I think it's weird you don't think musbi is American food.
I always hope for something from Poland and there it was, zapiekanka ♡
As an American, I knew it was Hawaii. But exactly as said, just saying USA, you’d be laughed out of the building. The US is massive. And there’s probably almost nowhere in the contiguous United States that you’d be able to find that dish.
It’s a Hawaiian street food. Not a U.S. one. And that’s just the facts of it.
Love this video
Guys, guys, guys…the Spam one was a no-brainer. You guys have been here. Spam is the National food substance of Hawaii. They eat more of it per capita than anyone else or so they claim anyway lol. Personally, they can keep Spam and Musubi. I prefer Kalua pork myself and those nummy little fried and sugar coated ball of doughy goodness! Also, Jägermeister is German not Austrian. We prefer to drink it after a super heavy meal and straight, mom kept her bottle in the fridge.
Indonesian here. That's interesting that you'd pick fried bakso in a broth with colored leaves — really misled me myself to mainland SEA. Was surprised that you'd get that spy tidbit, too! Nice.
… I guessed that spam one just like Jamie cuz a member from BTS (the Kpop group) made something just like that while filming in Hawaii lol😂
I may live in the USA, but I'm in Connecticut, 45 minutes from the Atlantic. SPAM is always Hawaii. They may feature it in other countries, but always go with Hawaii
Spam Musubi’s are such a staple in Hawaii! It could be breakfast, a snack, lunch. Its sooo good. It’s the perfect beach food. ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Roti John is from Malaysia. Not from Singapore.
Love this video. Would be great to challenge the normals with flavors from further afield like NZ or Australia….Paua, hangi, feijoa, Southland cheese rolls. 🙂
Ugh, now I'm missing spam musubi. There used to be a tea shop near my old place that sold them as side snacks, you know, to go with your bubble tea or whatnot.
The spam musubi one disappointed me! I thought they would get it!
I love spam musubi. I'm going to have some when I'm in Maui next week. In your honor, of course.
They don’t realize we can find spam musubi in all major U.S. cities, poor Hawaii😢
I mean a lot of Native Hawaiians still consider it a full country, I love how close Jamie came!!!
Jamie deserved the hawaii point, even though he didnt write it he did say it
Side note Bakso is one of President Obama’s favorite childhood foods he remembers from living in Indonesia
I don't understand how Austria that is more in the West can be farther than Croatia from Brazil… And Barry should have been made fun of with his "Northern Ireland" is a country…
You really put a smile on my face with the zapiekanka. Being polish and watching you guys for a good few years now I was always curious when you would explore polish cuisine. Love your content, love what you do. Keep growing and i wish you all the best ♥️
Love this game!! MORE!
We have something really similar like zapiekanka here in Hungary. It is a student stable and we make it for any meal really. It's called "melegszendvics" which is actually translates to hot sandwich.
live seeing bri'ish people getting their brains fried over the political logistics of colonies
I’ve got a great idea
Pick the country but then throw darts at a map
The distance away from correct answer is your score.
In which Jamie forgets the US is a country that exists
Any more cheap v expensive ingredients? Maybe some global ingredients
The second I saw spam sushi my brain immediately went “Hawaii” and then SPAF SPAFFED IT
Played along and paused the video while I wrote these guesses…
I went Belgium for the first one too! 😁
Dish 2, South Korea… WRONG! 🤣
Dish 3. I didn't get that (I thought Vietnam too).
4. I guessed Germany… and got it completely wrong! 🤣
I'm with Jamie (as an American), I thought "that seems like it's from Hawaii, but USA is too obvious"
