I have used both buttermilk and butter powder in your bread for sometime. Love your recipes.
Thank you for using weight measurements!
I’ve been wanting to try Wendy’s Buttermilk Breaa. I just made those 4 “baguette” loaves so I don’t need bread right now. I think I also have a couple of Wendy’s Cheese Buns left from last week. They are also quite good. Enjoy your loaves!
I've noticed that your voice has more energy, sounds more lively, after the infusion. And I agree with others, that your face has a glow about it.
Just put a couple of pieces of damp kitchen towel flat underneath your cutting boards and they will stay put.
Can I leave out the whole egg powder
🍞
Whoohoo so happy you are back with new bread experiment. You also look so much healthy ( Color in the face) and you took thinner.
Nilli, you never cease to amaze me my dear as to how you have these experiments going on and those lovely children of yours who are so well cared for and so well loved by you and your hubby! You are looking very well!
That was fun. Have you ever addedyeast to enhane the bread flavor?
I use to make the Butter Milk powder recipe… UNTIL… I grabbed the Coconut power and did not realize it, until I was already in my ingredients. Oh well, I just continued on and I will never return to buttermilk again. I love the coconut ingredient!!!!!! The bread comes out so nice and so soft!!!! I leave my bread in the oven for 20 minutes after turning off the oven. (Just Incase it wants to fall). Thanks so much for your recipes….Take care and hugs!!!!
Beautiful loaves! Thanks for experimenting again!
You are looking so much healthier. Your skin is glowing and I love your tops very flattering . And the bread looks delicious as always.🌹
Oh goodness wonderful, I finally have all my ingredients plus the buttermilk powder, so now am not sure which one to go with, as long as I get my whites to act right, lol! Anyways thanks for sharing another great experiment!
Two things, not that you asked 🙂 (1) you are looking especially trim in this one (2) the infusions have truly brought the color back to the apples of your cheeks instead of the rosacea-lke butterfly across the bridge of your nose. One of these days I'll get the nerve to mix up a batch of the egg white bread LOL
Loving your experiments!
I wish for sour dough
Thank you for doing this comparison! Your coloring is so beautiful! You can really see the pink in your cheeks!! So happy the iron infusion is working for you 🙂
Once again your breads are phenomenal!
You are a great baker😘😘
@indigonili
So dearest @indigonili I have couple of questions for you. 1- I really like the taste of yeast does the addition of butter milk omits that step?? or if you do both step it will increase the flavor?? 2- In your opinion it is better to increase cream of tartar to get the sour dough flavor??
Hmmmm, wondering what yoghurt powder might do. Looks like it has 5 carbs and zero fat per Tablespoon. Cream cheese powder has 1 carb 2gr fat per Tablespoon. Amazing we have so many powders available to us now … parmesan, Swiss, cheddar, vinegar powders … exciting experimentation runs wild!!
I have also purchased some of the freeze dried berries: raspberries, blueberries and strawberry pulverized them into powder and mixed/swirled them into a sweet bread version – nice taste treat success for me.
Thank you for the new test – I will try it as soon as the weather cools down. I don’t want to turn on the oven with all the heat😬
❤️❤️❤️
Though I'm non-dairy I appreciate Your trials, explanations & outcomes!!
Love all the data to apply to my non-dairy attempts!! YOU ROCK!!
I love your experiments with bread my favorite is the buttermilk with the butter I use two tablespoons of each, absolutely love it
Generally speaking, I love things made with buttermilk. I bet that tasted so good.
Thanks for doing the comparison. I've wanted to do a combo of your butter bread and Wendy's buttermilk break. I'm the only one eating the bread in my house so I'm so happy you are doing this. Thanks Nili! From Ontario Canada
Both beautiful loaves! I love all of your bread variations! Thank you!
They both look great! Mine always split on the side.😩
Wendy uses the Buttermilk powder to give the bread a "sourdough" twang. It's great. I've made all of your loaved bread recipes and hers. All delish!
thank you
