yum
My Dinner last night was inspired by this meal except I used broccoli as my veggie because I had no green beans. It was yummy:)
They will probably pair well with: YouTube: "Traditional German Rotkohl (Sweet/Sour Red Cabbage) @Vintage Kitchen"
🥰🇧🇷🥰🇧🇷🥰🇧🇷
Lingonberry jam is both sweet & tart, kind of a cross between cranberries & raspberries. Strawberry jam is just sweet, so that definitely wouldn’t go well with the meatballs.
Hi again Rose. My toy monkeys Harry and Larry think youre really pretty. Felt real fat yesterday rose so im checking out your weight loss vid. Im 45 and the weight creeps on let me tell ya! Have a good one xo penny 😀
I think red cabbage goes very well with this dish. I dont know if its a thing in North America, but here in Germany when there is gravy, something is missing without the red cabbage 😂
I always have these in my freezer !! Try them I’m veganised ‘Italian wedding soup’ so good !!!!
a great videography. great positive energies and great positive vibes. peace, blessings and loves ♾♾♾➕➕➕🌞🌞🌞💡💡💡🧬🧬🧬☢️☢️☢️⚛️⚛️⚛️⚡️⚡️⚡️🧿🧿🧿⚖️⚖️⚖️⚗️⚗️⚗️🌐🌐🌐🥔🥔🥔🪐🪐🪐🧆🧆🧆🍜🍜🍜👑👑👑🌅🌅🌅🦋🦋🦋🕊🕊🕊🤍🤍🤍
I laughed out loud at the Strawberry jam XD love you Rose hahaha
😋
ur so funny rose i love it
I see other swedes have already commented about lingonberry jam, but a tip from me is to add a tablespoon or two into the gravy! You can make a simple gravy by adding some water into the pan directly after you take out the plantballs, add some water, plant based cream, a starch slurry and the lingonberry jam. No need for anything else. This is how most people make the gravy here. Another thing we eat with this is sliced, pan fried onions.
Loved this! Please make more swedish things, it's so fun to watch!
They make it vegan at my IKEA, it’s delicious
I've tried them. I don't really like them because they are baked (I believe) at IKEA. Good call to pan fry. Probably more flavour! Your gravy looks delish! Cheers!
Great food👍👍👍
I was literally walking thru ikea for the first time in 6 years when your dropped this. I purchased the exact same veggie balls to try and now i just saw that you posted this. The planets are aligning 😅 Im going to cook with you tonight
That Dinner looked really yummy.
some could make a drinking game and drink everytime you say "okay" 😀 im sorry but i cant stop not hearing it :d
Plant balls: excellent. Fauxages: excellent. Vegan Plant Mince I am not so sure of. It smells like mushrooms to me and I don't like mushrooms. Trying as burgers with lots of liquid smoke, v. wooster and BBQ sauce. Maybe it'll get better with repetition. Planning chili: I don' t usually put mince of any kind in chili but I might do that just to get rid of this. So far, I won't be buying it again but YOU might love it. Lingonberry jam, elderberry syrup — YES!
My husband and I were at Ikea recently and had the plant balls for lunch when we arrived. We liked it so much that after shopping for a few hours we went back for another round!
Omg I have these in my freezer lol!
I tried them once and figured I’d buy them again, but I lived about an hour from IKEA so didn’t end up getting them. Now I’m 2 hours from IKEA. If I ever need to get to the PDX airport I’ll probably stop by and get some more of the veggie meatballs and of course lingonberry jam.
Literally last night just tried to make swedish meatballs following a swedish vegan recipe, tasty but disappointingly not similar at all to what I was hoping for lol
You are so awesome Rose! Great video!😁 I love how you improvised with the strawberry jam…😂
I love those AND the veggie balls as well!
Plus, those are BOTH glutenfree
As a suede I’m crying a bit. But it’s not just you but almost all that’s trying on Swedish food. I understand the Italians 😂
But I’m also so thankful for people trying on our food!!
The IKEA wardrobes are also delicious. Times have been hard.
No, Cranberry Sauce and Strawberry Jam is NOT similar!
No need to apologize. You did great.
Hi Rose 😀 heard of Jesus well im here to tell u he loves u and died for your sins. Turn to him today. Your choice. Oh and if u do, u can still be a vegan if u want. Bye 😀
Ikea plant balls are the best thing ever, I've eaten a million probably 😁 I always microwave them, cuz it takes 4 minutes and I can avoid extra oil (I put them in a bowl, add some water and microwave them). Amazing ♥️ esp. with lingonsylt from Ikea. I always have them either with pasta or with rice and I use the water I microwave them in as a "moisturizer" for rice)
Omg I've never seen those and Huvudroll in Swedish has nothing to do with food 😀 It's like a silly play on words. Huvudroll means main role or main part in a show/play/movie (not book). But literally translated it means head role lol.
i was gushing over these plant balls the moment i tasted it. it's reeeally really goood!
Those balls are really good air fried! I had them with some tomato sauce and pasta 🍝 it was very delicious 😋
I love Ikeas plant balls😄 They are sooooo good 😉😄
The jelly they use is called lingonberry jelly and it's actually really good with the meatballs I don't know how the strawberry would be LOL
I'm making vegan gumbo and vegan greens for Thanksgiving. Also, you don't have to wait for Thankviging for cranberries. They're easy to make and a great way to use apples and pears if they are starting to get tired.
I will try this!!! 😋👍💕
We tried it in Vancouver. Didn’t love it. We should do an episode on it too on our channel. 🤟🏽❤️
Ikea veggie dogs are also delicious. perfectly curated toppings, I love the crispy onions
not the 🍓 jam 🤣🤣🤣
Haha such a fun video idea! Even the iconic IKEA meatballs can be veganized!
No girl, not the strawberry jam 🤣 when I went to ikea, I didn't mind the veggie balls but they do need gravy xD
Yeah, get the lingonberry jam next time you're visiting IKEA. It's a very tart berry, and the jam is not as sweet as the strawberry jam. Strawberry jam with that sounds awful. 😀
Also, for proper Swedish mash, try adding some freshly grated nutmeg to it as well. So yummy!
