Don't buy Hamilton Beach. You can't access their website without agreeing to a bunch of garbage. I will never buy another Hamilton Beach product because of it.
Do you put water in the bottom under the crock?
I've never seen this one Anita. You sound dead different in this.Alright it is 6 years & 4 months old LOL 😛 😀
hello, does anyone know which is the desired temperature range that can set the pot? the minimum and the maximum
Purchased this product from a local store in May 2016. Within the first year the plastic front (on the digital display) which turns out is just a big sticker, started peeling away from the unit. Then soon after the one year warranty ended the lights on the digital display began blinking out. Now 2.5 years in, I can't see the lights at all – so the digital display is useless. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this crockpot.
I like your channel im a subscriber but 1- Not every one has a dish washer or can aford to run one. 2- its heavy and bulky.3- to most a hassle to clean some people cant lift that heavy.-4 lid has vent hole. We need a solid lid to keep moister in for flavor and texture. Ok review don't like product👎👎just sayin. Thank you!
what if your doing pulled pork anywhere between 5-8 hours ….how do you set a timer on it , if your trying to multi-task and im in the basement o_O???
I see this was posted 5 years ago. I like the handle design on this one, but, cannot find one identical to it. The other handles I see are on the newer models … they stick out further … are covered with rubber on the "ends" … are made of stainless steel (probably) and are riveted in. Which of the two is the new model?
Where do you plug the probe?
is it portable or not?
I used to have a much more basic version of the Stay or Go slow cooker: same size, same kind of lid, but manual controls and no temperature probe. Had to sell it on eBay when I was gifted an Instant Pot, because I didn't have room to store both (and as an "empty nester," I didn't often have a need to cook such large quantities). I still have a smallish (4-qt.) Crock-Pot, but it's very basic, and I wouldn't mind upgrading that eventually to a fancier model of about that same size.
so do you lock it while cooking? the lid seems like it's not sitting well causing heat loss? I saw someone else cooking while they had it locked I'm confused now.
What I like the most about the Hamilton Beach slow cooker is it can also be used to make yogurt and fermented soybeans (Japanese natto) by selecting the keep warm option. It maintains the perfect fermentation temperature.
i bought one for 5 years ago..i uset only 3 times, now it stay in my basement with 1 inch dust on it….for me is a no-no ..i prefer pressure cooker ! much-much better in 20 min. is all finish and it taste " magnifico" !
can you tell me if the hole for the probe is closed somehow if you don't use the probe?
I am very big into meal preping. can I cook multiple chicken breast at the same time with this slow cooker?
What are the best settings to slow-cool steel-cut oats?
Just got this for Christmas can't wait to try it out 🙂
I started mine and for some reason after the machine started smelling like burnt plastic why?
how does this compare to the Hamilton Beach Intellitime? Which is better? Thanks
I unplugged it while still on, and since then it does not work. Can it be fixed? Re=started? Re-programmed?
Or did I kill the entire machine by simply unplugging it at the wrong time?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Excellent review and good tips…Thanks!
is there a plug for that hole when not using the probe? wouldnt that cause to much heat loss when not using a probe?
Did not look done.
