I'm hosting a Fourth of July picnic with a very diverse group a friend's so this is perfect! I have two questions! The first is have you ever doubled it? I've never ever made beans in my instant pot so I'm a little apprehensive. The second is, do you have an idea of how long you simmered them on sautee afterwards? I'm just trying to get a gauge of how long I need to start them before the party. everything I can to make in instant pot comes out soupy so I assume that will be my experience 🙂
I made these for Sunday lunch. My gang enjoyed them. I don't know why I never realized dry beans could be cooked in a crock pot. Life changer! Thanks for sharing! ~Sarah
Could I use northern beans? I couldn’t get my hands on navy beans.
They look perfect!
