I have had the issue with the cooking times. I cooked rice in mine and it wasn’t long enough for me. The rice was still a little hard. Same with baked potatoes, I’ll follow the cooking time on the recipe and they come out dry. How do i know how long to cook things in the instant pot?

My first time using the instant pot and I got that burn notice! I thought it could only happen to me cause I’m such a fail in the kitchen. What does that “food burn” actually mean? Is it really burning or does it just mean it’s done?

I don't mean to be mean but has anyone told you that you look like Mary Roach from American Idol? I don't remember what season but in the auditions she wore white pants with a red shirt. She has short blonde hair and has a very weird audition but she also said she does hair too. Just saying you look a little like her, everyone has a twin.

Number 1 – nope, I’ve done this every day since I bought my IP 4 years ago – seal still stinks if you cook stinky things – it’s silicon, it’s going to stink. Number 2 – the other version does this as well ,when you take the lid off it’s made to hook onto the back of the unit rather than the side. It will rest into the back groove.

#1 reason I bought my instant pot is for bone broth. The crock pot took a day to make. Instant pot in 6 hours ❗ Plus I like the idea of stainless steel inside instead of painted inside on a crock pot.

You can put the LUX lid up on the top, you just hook the flange of the lid under the bent flange of the body. I do it all the time, and it holds my lid up for me. I also make yogurt in my LUX all the time too.

"Instant Pot is misleading as it takes 5 – 10 minutes to get the pressure buildup necessary which is certainly not instant. It also takes 5 – 10 minutes to cool it down prior to opening it. This is simply a pressure cooker with a digital timer that has a catchy name. Save time and just cook on the stove with a pan for veggies. It's faster and much easier to clean up and does not take up counter space like the instant pot. If you want tender meats, use a slow cooker. This takes more cook time, but your kitchen smells wonderful And you can sample the food to see if it is done and don't have to release the pressure to do so.

Aww a family reunion😍 I'll be so happy when you'll finally reunite. You know prayer really works so if your father being back with his wife is what you really want then go to the Lord and pray about it and I promise you if that's what is destined for the two of them they will reunite😍💯.
