I start at 357lbs and am down to 339lbs. I'm just over 6 weeks. I see others my size losing 3 times that much in the same amount of time. Am I doing something wrong? I don't eat high fat, hitting 1500 calories a day, 22g net carbs or less a day, gallon of water a day, some diet soda, always hitting my protein sometimes going over. Also just finished a 6 week challenge at the gym. 3 work outs a week with a personal trainer. So frustrated to see how much others lose who are at my weight. Hoping you have good news for me.

Ally how did you cope with water retention? Did you notice you held more water before your period and had no loss those weeks? A video would be useful.

Calories-in/calories-out is not by and large true. There are plenty of diets that restrict calories, cause your metabolism to go into hibernation mode, and you don’t lose weight despite restricting calories and even getting a lot of exercise. Insulin resistance plays a large part. Some diets are better than others.

I agree with the cheat days. What am I going to "cheat" with that I can't keto? Cheating and binging normally go hand in hand.. so I have to avoid that frame of mind

Food emotions are crazy. I will literally turn into a toddler, complete with tantrum sometimes over food. I love how you tell yourself to chill out. I do the same, but I tell myself you're not depriving yourself, you're embracing a new way of life, let it go girl. I got so discouraged with my plateau the last few months, I would binge, then get back on track, back and forth. Finally I gave up on binges and challenged myself to just stay on track for 90 days. I'm on day 15, and I started losing again. Thanks for helping me stay motivated.

When I get done eating for the day I go upstairs to my room to start watching tv – prior to bed. I am just that lazy that I don't want to come down to get food so it works nicely.

I don’t consider it to be lying if you tell your audience that you lost 150 pounds on your weight loss journey, because you did. Don’t discount yourself just because you gained muscle! I just watched your last video, so I know you were stressed about your intro!

Allie it is so refreshing to hear someone so genuine and honest. I can't tell you the number of channels that I can no longer watch do to their dishonesty i.e. I have lost 130 pounds but in the last video they just said they gained 20!!! You look radiant as ever and thank you for the tips; yes swimsuit season is only a couple of months away.

Ally, would you consider doing a video, or two, on maintaining a weight loss? I’ve lost weight before and now I’ve lost it again (70lbs). But no one ever has guidance on KEEPING it off. Once I hit my big goal, I was lost. I was like well now what? I still have about 25-30 more, but I think being able to go in to it with an idea of what I need to do would be soooooo helpful! Thanks!! 😉

Hi Ally, I've lost 180lbs. I've been hanging out at the 150's, I would still like to lose another 20-25lbs (I'm 5' tall). I'm happy with my progress, just trying reach the next level to begin maintenance. Any tips for an adjustment in my Keto program to "kick-start" that final push? Thanks for all you do!🙂🙋‍♀️👍

I like to crochet while watching Netflix. I am combining keto with extended fasting. The longest I have fasted is 6 days. I am hoping to benefit from autophagy to minimize loose skin when I am down to my goal weight. I LOVE fasting! I feel so energized and clear-headed when I fast.

Hello. Your vid was so knowledgable! I've been trying to research for a vid that explains the topics in this vid. 👨‍⚕️Your video really reminds me of the channel from Dr. Ethan. Dr's demonstrations are for sure informative and I really learned a lot for finals! He is a new Dr in Europe!

I suggest you watch his channel out and give the Dr a subscribe here! ➡️ #DrEthanOnYouTube

My tip for myself is be patient. There’s going to be setbacks and surges but as long as the trends are moving toward the positive things will work out.

I know you put in a lot of time and work for these videos so thank you. Anyway we can at least offer a gratuity?

Although I buy meat in bulk, I have to cook and store it in individual servings. Also, my first attempt at making cauliflower mac'cheese tasted great but I ate the whole casserole. I don't make it anymore 🤪. I try to prepare and enjoy my least favorite keto foods so I don't exceed my calories and overeat 🥴.

To conquer the night time munchies, I changed my location. Rather than watching TV in the living room which is kitchen adjacent, I do it in my bedroom or downstairs with my hubby. I don’t eat in those rooms, so I’m not thinking about food.
