If you spend a lot of your summers living in a trailer or small yacht than this is a must have item. Make sure to have lots of silicon cooking accessories that not only make storage easier but control rattling of other stored items you are stashing onboard your small yacht.

💕 I'm the person who sat and researched the Instapot, Air Fryer, and Countertop Oven, and finally chose the Countertop Oven. The one that's sitting back in the box now because in the 11 or so months I had it, I used it all of 4 or 5 times. I mean it was really neat. Had a regular oven feature, convection oven feature, was large enough to cook two pizzas at the same time (I never did put that to the test) and get this: a rotisserie !! Which is really what finally persuaded me to buy it. That worked ok, but created a mess when in use. The convection feature left food dried out. I finally stopped using it altogether. And it sat taking up a 22" x 16" area of my already tight countertop for the next 8 months. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I finally got tired of the deadbeat, space-hogger & boxed it back up. Now I'm looking at the Instapots again ! 😂 So I'm going to watch video reviews on them the next few days so someone can convince me to buy one !! Your video was a great start !! Thank you !!! 😉👍🏼😊

I love your channel! My Instant Pot is arriving in just a few days! Got it for Black Friday for $49 and free 2-day shipping! I can’t cook toast and I eat fast food constantly, so hopefully, with your help, this will be a game changer for me!

I have two! They are a huge tool in my kitchen. I was raised with nothing other than homemade. If she were alive today…she would have several! I also have friends that won"t use their IP. Sad

I really like to make a corned beef and cabbage meal in 90 minutes instead of hours on the stove. this is the first meal I made with the instant pot, and I learned that it takes 90 minutes to properly cook the meal. Kristen, thank you for your videos, they are great to watch and do. I just ordered your e-cookbook. this will help. now I have 3 instant pot cookbooks, plus your videos. I can make almost anything.

Thank You Thank You for explaining that the MANUAL button and the Preasure Cook button mean the SAME THING.
I was going crazy trying to figure that out.
Instant Pot SHOULD make that function more CLEAR in their instructions.

I make different soups. I love to put a frozen beef roast in the IP and go to church, I have my vegetables cleaned and diced and put them in the pot when we get home. We are able to eat delicious meal in a few minutes after getting home. I also love to cook chili bean in my IP. It is great is a great t8e savor for me. My husband teases me about loving my pressure cooker, he doesn’t remember the name brand. I use the pressure cooker several times a week. I had another brand and I wore it out so I bought the Instant Pot, I really love it. Cooking eggs turn out great, they are so easy to peel! Well enough said, if you are thinking about buying a Pressure cooker get the IP!

I am researching different brands of pots and I think the IP would be exactly what I need. I am a very new below the knee amputee and I am slowly going thru my house and setting it up to accommodate my new life style and a wheelchair because it will be a while before I get a prosthetic. I cant stand at the stove for long periods of time and babysit dinner but I also want something I feel comfortable enough to set it up and roll away and tackle another chore. Thank you all for your comments recipes and tips and tricks. So should I order and if I do even though there is just him and I here together we have 7 children and 13 grandchildren so I think I should get the big one and I can freeze leftovers for lunches or meals later. Thanks everyone

I haven't used my stove top in so long. I have the 6 quart Nova plus from Costco. Regular price $109.99 but right now till April 21, it has a $25 instant rebate making it a steal for $84.99. I work there as well. I do all my meals in the pot. I so look forward to my cook days which are usually 3 days or so apart which gives me some time to whip up something new to make. Tomorrow is cook day, YAY! I'm planning on meatloaf and mashed potatoes using my Ekovana stackable pans.

I am single and I live alone. I was looking for a quick way to make healthy low sodium inexpensive meals. My 6 quart Instant Pot Duo fits that need. My favorite thing to make is a whole chicken. I dump a 4 pound chicken in it. Cover it with garlic and onion powder, dried herbs, dump in 2 cups of chicken broth. Let it pressure cook on high for 8 minutes per pound. I then just remove the steel pot, cover it with aluminum foil, and shove it in my refrigerator. I then have a quick dinner for the next few days. The left over broth makes an excellent base for vegetable soup.

Do I need to convert/modify conventional stovetop recipies in order to make them work in the instant pot? I'm hoping I can just do the exact same recipies and just put everything in the instant pot. Thanks!

I made two corned beef and cabbage meals. Tomorrow I am going to make meatloaf and potatoes(mashed). I also bought accessories for the instant pot. These are two rings for the lid, the inner pot (6 quart size) , and a springfirm7 inch pan. This I am lining with aluminium foil, to make the meatloaf. I didn’t get the two pans that have the nestle cage. I am not a big cheesecake fan. So for having an instant pot for maybe 3 months, I’m not doing too bad!!! I can eat what I cook, yes it is edible!!! Lol!!

I LOVE my Instant Pot!! I have had it just under a month and I can honestly say it has changed my life!! I don't have enough fingers and toes to count the amount of times I have used it since purchasing (like I said, under a month). I was the slow cooker queen but it is now collecting dust on my shelf. Your videos have helped me get over my initial hesitation and now that I use it every day, my husband has even suggested I get a second larger one. Also, our favorite recipe so far is rice pudding! I make it several times a week because it is my family's favorite!

I do all sorts of stuff with my IP, but a couple of uses surprised me:

Reheating leftovers – Even from frozen, it's just 15 minutes at pressure. Unlike the microwave, I don't have to keep checking it.

Cooking frozen meat – I've tried this with pork chops, chicken, even a whole turkey breast and they all came out great! I don't have to remember to put them in the fridge to thaw the night before.
