Yes ma'am, my mother/grandmother could always make a meal from simple ingredients!
Here's an inexpensive meal: Smoked sausage any kind browned; saute' bell peppers and onions then stir in BBQ and Chili sauce. Serve over rice. Made this for my construction worker husband. Put in a good wide mouth thermos with the rice on top. Gave him a throw away bowl to dump out the meal. Also froze Chubbs baby wipes in the freezer and put in his cooler.
Used to make beans and hotdogs a lot when my son was little boy and my ex and I had foster kids. Never put Mac and cheese in my beans tho. Never thought of it.
Cheap meal, but sometimes Walmart is cheaper. Dollar tree is$1.25 now and we’ll $1.00
some times at Walmart and you can get Mac and cheese $1.00 or GV at Walmart under $1.00.
I buy GV on most things not everything if I can get GV.
I know GV is not always the Best Buy but most times GV is cheaper,
Like it all
I've done this a lot. More from scratch then from Dollar Tree though.
I love mac and cheese and beans mixed 😋
Nothing wrong with those kind of meals how many of is survived on those in college? My hubby once made me Mac and cheese added tuna and broccoli. It was actually pretty good
❤ u Tammy 😊
That, looks like a white onion
Love your hairstlyle!
I think I’d like it all mixed together!!
I have never been a fan of beans and franks or Vienna sausage. I’ll do the plain Mac n cheese and the green beans!
When did you cut your hair. It looks nice. Love your videos very much.
I just can't bring myself to put onion in anything. Anybody have suggestions for another way to add flavor to this recipe?
Tammy, these dishes look so delicious, I have to try them together..I thank you so much for sharing…😍😘
The Dollar Tree stores around me (near Philadelphia) are $1.25 no longer $1.00. Some things I can get cheaper at Walmart or Aldi. You just have to watch the prices.
This is wonderful to see great meals on a budget. I look forward to seeing these. Thank you!
Where we cook with whatever we got lol ain’t that the truth. My favorite bag of hot wings is now over $10….it used to be $6.98 😬 went up so fast…
This &8.00 Dinner, Dollar Tree Grocery Haul Beans and Franks recipe looks so delicious Ms. Tammy.
Throw those weenee bites in the Mac N cheese.
Good tips! Thanks Tamm
Miss said your regular hair
Thank you for sharing 🙂
Hi Tammy👋Thanks for another great recipe beans and franks. It's another all time favorite for me too. Even with the Mac n' cheese you still can't go wrong. Your green beans are so delicious! Thanks for sharing Tammy. Much love and God Bless❤🙏🤗😊🤗👍
I wish my Dollar Tree was still a $1.00 store. I fortunately have a Walmart across the highway from the Dollar Tree. Do the franks have pork in them?
Glad you didn't use vienna
Like you said – YUM! 😋
Isn't the dollar tree anymore, its the 1.25 tree store, my kids would never eat beenie weenies lol
I’m sure with prices of everything including food this is GREAT for families on a budget AND kids would love it.
I can't find MY vidalias!!! Makes me so d..n mad! I love those onions….I guess I need to move to Georgia! HA
Always made the beanie weinies for my kids growing up along with jiffy brand cornbread. I used pork-n-beans, cut up hot dogs, brown sugar and mustard. and if time allowed bacon on top and baked in the oven.
This would be a great meal on a budget or anytime. You are a sweetheart Tammy.
Well, I made your recipe for canned green beans and they were great. I also made your recipe for apple fritters and they turned out great. My husband loved them both!!! And he normally will not eat green beans.
When I was first married there was a hurricane coming to Corpus Christi 1970. My husband was in the Navy. He called me and told me to go to the store and get any thing we didn't have to cook. I got probably 20 cans of beanie weenies. Our electricity was off for 2 weeks. We always laugh when we hear beanie weenies. Love watching you.
You are so real…thank you
Use the Vienna sausages with cream of wheat. My great grandmother got me used to eating it. Just make cream of wheat as instructed on box. For the smaller cans of V.S., I’d make enough Cream Of Wheat for two servings, salt and butter to taste, add in broth from can and chop up the V.S.’s into bite size circles. Add at the end and it’s delicious comfort food!
