Ok, So I have some questions about the ground beef. It looked really dry! I actually prefer some fat in my beef. I was curious why you dont (or have you ever) cooked it in the steamer basket in your pot? If so how did that turn out. I also would prefer it not all come out in one big chunk.

For pot in pot cooking I see 'anything marked as oven-safe' but does this include the disposable aluminum foil pans as well? I dont want to buy a cheesecake pan if I dont like it so want to test it in an aluminum pan first before investing.

I treated myself to the Instant Pot Duo. I’m trying to make beef stew. Ok here is where I’m bout ready to pull my hair out. According to the instructions you should be able to select between less, normal and more to get it to cook meat really super tender. Also you should be able to switch it when using the sauté function. I can’t mine to budge from normal. I don’t think mine is pressurizing and it keeps flashing food burn. What am I doing wrong I really feel like I wasted my money.

My husband got me one for Christmas. I actually wanted one of those little steaming lunch boxes for rice and veggies. He got me the biggest one. He doesn't even like steamed veggies. I don't eat meat so I guess I'm just cooking a bunch of rice.
