Some good soy sauce alternatives are gluten free soy sauce or coconut aminos. Since soy sauce is the base of teriyaki sauce maybe making your own teriyaki sauce would be helpful with one of these alternatives. I know making one more thing might not be worth it. I will say it is good so my whole family just uses it instead. 😊

There is a gluten free brand of teriyaki sauce out there. We use it bcuz my daughter can't hv soy sauce bcuz she can't hv soy or gluten. 👍🏽
We don't shop at Walmart so I'm not sure if they carry it.

Such a nice vlog, Tiffany. I love seeing normal family life. Looking forward to your pork delivery. Hope you're happy with the new butcher. Everything looked yummy. I think Friday is national donut day. We should all celebrate! 😅

No shade with the breakfast thing. I think that’s a societal concept. Food is food, whether you eat soup for breakfast, or breakfast food for dinner, as long as you’re being nourished. I worked nights for over 40 years, we had a cafeteria, and you could get a full meal, if you wanted, at 2 am. I generally ate something before I went to bed, and for me, it was whatever leftovers were in the fridge. Don’t feel you need to explain or justify what you eat for any meal.

Yum everything looks good!!! I think today we are going to do Philly cheesesteaks and a side. We are trying so hard to continue to save so we can move down the road. It's so hard now days with the cost of everything but I'm trying to tell myself one day at a time, one dollar at a time. It all adds up! So just trying not to get discouraged. We are doing eat at home as often as possible. Only time this month we have planned where we will have to get something is when we go to visit my in laws. I'll pack snacks and stuff but on the road we will need one meal. So our goal is to find someplace cheap to hold us over until we get there.

I always use coconut aminos instead of soy sauce and make my own sauces.

That Pirate book looks cute. I'll have to take my granddaughter to the library and get it when she comes to visit next month. Her Pre-school teacher has read a cute book at Grandparents Day a couple times. It's called The Retired Kid. Have you read that one to your kids before?
