I appreciate the reduced-price meal ideas. I will say though, my hungry 4-person family would gobble up all that food quickly and ask for more. Teenagers eat a lot LOL I love the idea of sweet potato Mac n cheese, definitely a great twist on butternut squash Mac n cheese. Thank you for sharing!

I've made that chicken casserolle for years! i thought it was the only one! lol Not exactly like that but close enough. Also a great cheap huge feeder, slow cook chicken pulled taco meat in the slow cooker if u wanna use the three chicken breast for that instead of the soup or casserole, feeds a ton

Don’t add salt when cooking beans, they will cook faster. Add salt to your dish after the beans are cooked. I just cooked 5 year old dry black beans in an hour and a half by not adding salt.

Ohhhh, Julia, you didn't buy milk with your $25 budget. You cheated, but I won't hold that against you- LOL. The recipes look wonderful. I have both black & pinto beans & now I have recipes for them. Thanks.
